Talks by Fr. Larry Richards or Fr. Corapi

A couple of years ago some people from our parish in Southern Indiana put on a Catholic Conference, and one of our speakers was Fr. Larry Richards. He was GREAT and the audience loved him (except for a couple of DREs who thought he was too judgemental of differing views of Catholicism). His tapes (“The Mass”, “Confession”, and “The Truth”) are a great tool for evangelization and I have given out a lot of them. For just a dollar or two apiece I got them from the Mary Fouindation at the Catholicity website.
 
Fr. Corapi is absolutely terriffic. I try to listen to him every day folowed by Dr. Rey. 3 hours a day that are awesomely informing! I love Catholic radio!
 
Where can I get more info on Catholic radio? I TIVO EWTN like a mad man, but I’d love to turn off sports radio now and then for some Fr. Corapi 🙂
 
relaventradio.com i think you can listen there…on my radio here in chicago its am 820…fr.corapi and dr.rey are soo good, so are the rest of the shows too!
 
actually archbishop fulton sheen is on right now on relavant radio online, listen to him he is a classic. i hope he become a saint!

When I first heard Fr Larry’s talks ‘Called to Glory’ & ‘Eucharist’ they shocked me out of my complacency. I thought, “I’m going to hell if I don’t change my ways!”

Thank Almighty God for priests like him and Fr John who are not afraid to tell it like it is.

Last Sunday 4 seminarians joined us at out Latin Mass and we chatted afterwards. I gave them the link to www.franciscanyouth.com

Who knows? We might get us some dynamic priests in the future, here in NZ
 
And of course both EWTN Radio & TV are available via streaming players. Go to www.ewtn.com, then navigate to either the “television” or “radio” menus on top, from which you can select the schedules for each, as well as a streaming feed.

Fr. Corapi is carried periodically on the tv feed, & perhaps on the radio feed.

You can also pick up related content via mp3 download or podcast at ewtn.com/podcast/index.asp .

Of course, Catholic Answers Live is available in either mp3 or realaudio (though no podcast yet) at catholic.com/radio.asp.

You sound like me. Through this thread I found relevantradio and listen to it for 3 or 4 hours everyday. It is awesome.

Another sight to check out is pureloveclub.com and go to the Seminars portion and listen to the Romance Without Regret talk given to Catholic students. Great talk! I think you will like it, or anyone will for that matter

Has anyone heard of Fr Robert Altiers of St Paul Minnesota?

I just came across a site of his homilies (audio & video) I have only looked at one where he blasts the US Bishops for the Protecting God’s Children program. He seems quite sound.

He also had a homily where he said that people don’t believe in chastisement “because people don’t want to deal with sin.” In regard to the hurricanes and natural disasters lately.
 
Since I’ve only heard him on the radio I always thought of him as over weight man with crazy brown hair. Well boy was I wrong. 😃 I got to see him on TV today. He is SO awesome. I hope to see him March when he comes to Ohio.

Has anyone had this going through their head when they hear his name… “Carabi, where is your hunting party?” :o Lion King influence is in my head. 😃
 
Just thought you’d all like to know. I emailed Fr Larry to ask about homilies since June 2005 and he replied that they are working on it.

Thanks for that update, I have not checked to see if they have the homilies updated. Hopefully soon, I love reading those.

If you think he is awesome on TV…wait tll you see him in person! The man is surely a St Paul of our day! He is riveting…his voice is alone to catch your attention. There were 3,000 people at the conference I went to and you could hear a pin drop…the place was full of the Holy Spirit!

I would do anything to hear him a gain!!!
