Given that the reductions in hours, the cancelled plans, the dropping of insurance for individuals and groups is in response to OBAMACARE please don’t trot out the canard of the evil corporations. Corporations are in business to make money and they will pay employees based on value added less costs incurred. When government forces costs UP, then companies either look for additional value from employees or they reduce costs which means either hours or benefits. Lisa, as you know health care costs have been sky rocketing for some time. So, we get the Affordable Care Act. Nothing you said here explains anything.

Granted you seem to know that so you through in that bit about evil corporations.
It’s because of OBAMACARE that this is all raining down on us now. We’ve never seen five million individuals lose insurance at the same time before. Hardly a conincidence. I agree. The companies that are throwing their employee’s care out the window should be punished. By us!
I have NO idea what you mean about couples “sighting” (citing?) profit over marriage. Birth control issuess have nothing to do with either subject. Get back on track. Your post makes no sense at all and isn’t related to the thread. The couple in the link (this story) provided was considering dissolving their marriage to save money.
O-BOMB-acare has more explosives in the chamber and only an executive action by Obama deflected the real disaster coming when the employer mandate kicks in. I handle the healthcare coverage for our three clinics and as I work in healthcare on the other side (as a provider) I see all of the dirty little secrets. Throwing your empty gun at the approaching enemy so soon?
Had Obama left the healthcare sector alone we would be far better off and had he decided to spend billions on healthcare it would have been far more effective in providing HEALTHCARE instead of broken websites, stupid advertisment and attorney fees to fight the DOZENS of lawsuits brought against the HHS.AS you no doubt recal, we tried letting first the Doctors, then the Insurance companies solve our health care problem. They both failed. So to let them run our system to the outer limits of cost is not a very sound plan.
Left, right or center does anyone thinks Obamacare has been a good use of tax dollars? It’s increased costs, decreased access, paralyzed the economy, caused endless heartache to those who are no longer covered or cannot afford the new premiums.
Don’t point fingers at the employers. Whether or not profit driven at least they are providing jobs for people. :dts:
