I love how she blames Donohue for her bigotry. So it’s his fault she said what she did?

“No matter what you think about the campaign, I signed on to be a supporter and a tireless employee for them, and if I can’t do the job I was hired to do because Bill Donohue doesn’t have anything better to do with his time than harass me, then I won’t do it,” Marcotte wrote Monday night.

And apparently, she didn’t have anything better to do with her time but spew venom against the Church, Her Teachings, The Immaculate Conception, the Pope, conservatives and Christianity in general.

It’s strange how the woman thinks. Kind of like the pot calling the kettle, black.

You’d think that one day people would at least learn you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

It’s hard for me to believe such vulgar language and open hatred came from two adult females.

I’d expect it from rebellious teenagers not adults. (Not that I’d like it, but I wouldn’t be surprised) Especially in politics. I thought people in politics were supposed to be somewhat diplomatic. I guess I was wrong.

I thought the same thing. The whole, let’s blame someone else for my mistakes thing is something a teenager or very young 20 something does, not an adult. It was just so childish.

This gal got caught preaching to the death-loving feminist choir, spewing their skewed understanding of the relations between men and women in a ancient society they know nothing about for the single purpose of showing Christianity as a religion hostile to women. If Edwards and co. actually believe such bilge they ought to have guts to stand by their woman and declare that she speaks for them, which she does. But, in order to play nice with the Church they hate, they accept her resignation in order to give the impression they don’t approve of her saying what they all believe. That’s called hypocrisy.

Isn’t that sort of like the attacker blaming the victim mentality?

It’s Donohue’s fault she had to quit; it’s the Catholic Church’s fault she had to quit; it’s Christianity’s fault she had to resign.
I suppose everybody should have just kept quiet and let her do what she does best: Talk trash and spread hate. :nope:

I wouldn’t be surprised if she winds up on a talk show, all teary-eyed, complaining her right to “Freedom of Speech” was impeded by Christianity. Most especially, the Catholic Church.

This woman can dish it out, but she can’t take it when the Faithful stand up and defend their Church. Amazing. Absolutely amazing.

“Bill Donahue – The most powerful man in the vast right wing conspiracy!” :rotfl:

You know, now that I think about it, I may have been too rough on rebellious teens in my previous post.
At least, when they’re called to the carpet for the things they say and do, they’re honest enough to come out and admit their feelings, whether we like it or not. They don’t try to gloss over it with semantics. I gotta’ give them credit for that, at least.

God Bless,
