I am against my 20yr old son getting a tattoo, Am I wrong?
Your view is your view is it not “wrong” to hold it. Your son is an adult however, and may not take your view as his own.I am against my 20yr old son getting a tattoo, Am I wrong?
probably not, but he is an adult, and at the prime age for doing stupid things he will regret later in life, and and the age least amenable to parental interference.I am against my 20yr old son getting a tattoo, Am I wrong?
Depends on what kind he wants.I am against my 20yr old son getting a tattoo, Am I wrong?
I don’t know if I’d accept ‘sleeves,’ I forgot about those! haDepends on what kind he wants.
If my children, when they get older (they are 3 and 1 now), would like a nice piece of permanent artwork on their bodies, I only hope they choose something meaningful like a Celtic crucifix to reflect their faith/heritage, or a pair of little baby footprints for each child they have, or a military symbol for service to our country, etc.
Of course, if they want “sleeves,” that wouldn’t bother me, either, as long as there wasn’t anything pornographic or Satanic (or other things offensive to good ol’ Catholic sensibilities) included.
Anyway, just my random thoughts. Probably doesn’t mean much since my little ones aren’t even potty trained yet.![]()
I know that is a Orthodox Jewish belief, and have heard my mom joke that “if you have a tattoo, I can’t bury you in the Jewish cemetary” b/c she heard Jewish moms use that threat on their kids.I was always taught that God made me the way I am for a reason. My parents always considered tattoos a defacing of a work of God’s
creation. I have felt this way too. I just can’t understand why someone would get a tattoo.
