Ishii. :rolleyes: The real question around Cruz, and his ilk? How much longer are they going to hold the republican party, and the nation up with their far right wing deconstructionist delusions? Some posters lately have brought up Joseph Stalin. Personally I believe he was an evil man. But, he wouldn’t have suffered the TEA Party long.😉

To some up the question of the affordable care act. Healthcare delivery in our nation has been in crisis for many years. We’ve tried a few band-aides to help it heal. But nothing definitive has come along until the ACA. Mind it is a law badly in need of work. But it’s a law we have to work with. Enough childish gamesmanship, lets join together and fix our problems with it.

Good for you and your family… too bad its going to hurt alot more families than help… I wish the dems would stop destroying America.

Here’s the rub, your whole argument is based upon the premise that the health care under Obamacare will be comparable to our current level of health care, or even minimally competent. It won’t be.

The problem with our system was over-involvement of government in health care. Obamacare has exponentially increased govt involvement. The results are predictable, and we are seeing them. Pretending you can put lipstick on this pig and make it palatable is the height of arrogance.

Mickey, WHAT are you talking about? The Tea Party was formed in response to BIG BROTHER government ignoring the Constitution and taxing citizens as they would subjects. Are we to all bleat like sheep in order not to be called “right wing extremists”? Methinks it is people such as YOU who have surrendered your and your children’s freedom heritage. No, actually, Reagan believed that each individual to make HIS OWN decisions. He spoke of the greatness of America, and the grace of God at every turn.

Rhino, if you believe that a 2700 page bill and 20,000 more pages of regulations (and counting) have been written with anything more than the nourishment and “health” of the leviathan federal bureaucracy in mind, you are tragically mistaken. Already, Obamacare has been used as a slush fund to grant all sorts of rancid leftist groups millions to administer it. And no doubt, use their ill-gotten resources to recruit an army of the indebted to keep THEM in power forever. THIS is the reality. 😊 Rob
 
Cruz is a hypocrite, he talked for twenty plus hours to not fund anything in the plan, yet he still voted it in favor of the measure. That’s as hypocrite as one gets.

  1. The problem with our system was people getting qaulity care without facing financial ruin.
  2. The only portions that were run efficiently were the part adminstered by the government.

Stalin and his thugs had no Constitution and tradition of freedom to reign him in, AND he had access to ALL the weaponry. How sad that Obama must “suffer” freedom-loving patriots.
And you call the man who wants to UPHOLD the Constitution a “deconstructionist”? :hypno: Pretty strong Kool-Aid there.
BTW, the reason that market-based reforms have not been passed id b/c radical progressives such as REid, Pelosi and Obama have stopped them. The idea that we must “do SOMETHING”, and that something is imposing 23,000 pages of bureaucratic, nightmarish rules, is preposterous. :cool:

What your basically doing is knit picking. If press a or news organization b says what I want them to say, their doing right thing. When they go against what we believe is left wing. Look no matter what site you go to you will see that Cruz went against what he was preaching.
