And maybe you should take a look at who is pulling the strings on your side and what their motivations are rather than being preoccupied with the Koch BrothersAnd?
Maybe these articles are more to your liking:And maybe you should take a look at who is pulling the strings on your side and what their motivations are rather than being preoccupied with the Koch Brothers
Why don’t you post a link since this is your case to make. Not particularly. It would be more interesting if you posted links to how Soros was behind - how did Nancy Pelosi describe it? = the completely spontaenous grassroots Occupy movement. Not only Soros, but the SEIU as well.
Yes, “Too Big To Fail” started with the showing of policies of Reagan, Clinton, and Bush, which (it was implied) led to the bank crisis.Glass-Steagall.![]()
What happened to billionaire Sam Fuld? You got to hand it to billionaire Hank Paulson though; he knew when to get out and take the job with the government.Thinkprogress… brought to you by the billionaire George Soros!
Sorry, I don’t know the reference. Care to explain? What happened to billionaire Sam Fuld? You got to hand it to billionaire Hank Paulson though; he knew when to get out and take the job with the government.
Sam Fuld was the CEO of Lehman Bro before they collapsed and he lost his shirt. Paulson was CEO of Goldman Sachs before he was asked to the Treasury Secretary. These were the individuals very heavily involved in the banking collapse. (I’m not accusing them of causing it, though.)Sorry, I don’t know the reference. Care to explain?
Pot, and kettle. And maybe you should take a look at who is pulling the strings on your side and what their motivations are rather than being preoccupied with the Koch Brothers
Not so much. I mentioned George Soros only after the Koch Brothers were brought up.Pot, and kettle.
The irony is not lost. Its been a long time since I’ve read green eggs and ham but isn’t it about a grumpy old curmudgeon who keep insisting he hates something he’s never even tried (the eggs and ham) and then at the end when he actually does try it he discovers he really does like it?
Hmmmm, interesting choice…
This a a shallow argument at best. You have no idea how this iron-fisted government edict would serve Americans. This bill contains 23,000 pages that no congressman has read. It’s all about power, and creating hundreds more layers of bureaucracy to control every aspect of our lives. Cruz, BTW, was reading a bedtime story to his girls. You lefties are grasping at straws. Tasting geen eggs and ham is one thing, but we can take the word of experts that cyanide kills. Its been a long time since I’ve read green eggs and ham but isn’t it about a grumpy old curmudgeon who keep insisting he hates something he’s never even tried (the eggs and ham) and then at the end when he actually does try it he discovers he really does like it?

INITIALLY, these masterminds cameout smelling like roses, not ultimately. THere were indeed many factors, but granting millions of bad loans to unqualified “buyers” is not going to turn out well. NOR is printing a trillion dollars per year of Monopoly money to prop up our markets. Less wealthy Americans are getting crushed during this “recovery”.It was too late for that. Remember Solomon Brothers and Bear Stearns? Navistar? I take it you didn’t read the book or see the movie “Too Big To Fail”? It was pointed out that Russia and China had managed to buy up considerable amount of Fannie and Freddie bonds and were ready to dump them, which would have sent the American economy into an unimaginable tailspin. Paulsen didn’t come out of it smelling like any rose.
You believe utter nonsense, to be charitable. The Koch Bros are PROGRESSIVES on many issues, including amnesty and abortion. :doh2:Actually, the Tea Party was formed by lobbyists and super pacs. Talk about people that follow like sheep. Shhheeeshhh. the Koch brothers are pulling the strings. Always have been…still are.

Don’t try telling people that - many still don’t even know how to pronounce the Koch name - let alone what they actually stand for.You believe utter nonsense, to be charitable. The Koch Bros are PROGRESSIVES on many issues, including amnesty and abortion. :doh2:
