Father, in the name of Jesus and for His sake please help those tempted to despair to know that they are uniquely loved children of God.
Grant others to recognise the signs of their despair and help them with love, wisdom and kindness.
 
may the light of Truth untangle the confusion and errors that darkness can hold on our souls and bodies. Mother Mary protect us from the darkness.
 
I pray for everyone who feels depression and suicidal thoughts to turn to our Lord Jesus for His light and Strength to carry them when they feel they can no longer hold on. I pray to Jesus through Mary. Amen

You Who have known us from conception,
we seek You, by the Sacred Name of your Son, Jesus our Savior,
come to those who are troubled
whose hearts are full of pain
comfort us and heal us,
You Who have known us from conception,
find us in our darkest places
rescue us from the lies of the evil one
O Saving God, Most Holy King,
may Your Grace sustain us
and may Your angels protect us
You Who have known us from conception
guard us in Holy Name
from this temptation and from all temptations

I’m going to confession here in a little while but I still think I’ll feel guilty about what I did which will go unmentioned. I only want the priest and my close friends to know what happened. Thank you 244Rocket. Right now I am doing a lot better than I was the other night. 🙂
 
My 14 year old daughter came to me the other day and told me she was having suicidal thoughts - I was terrified and devastated! We are getting her the help she needs.

My prayers are added and thank you for yours!

Lord, I lift up anyone who is having thoughts such as these to your mercy and love. Help them to know your mercy and love will help them through.
 
Heavenly Father, please help Regi’s daughter to get past suicidal thoughts and learn to welcome life.
Please help her worried parent, and the counsellor, with all the graces to help her to recover from whatever troubles her.
