Testimony: Trump dossier not made-up; not politically motivated

Here are some examples of things he said that are untrue and/or not substantiated or supported by evidence.

That he was going to release definitive proof that Obama wasn’t born in the USA.

He had the biggest ever inauguration crowd.

That a Pew report had information on voter fraud.

That two people were shot and killed during an Obama speech in Chicago (there were no Homicides in Chicago that day)

Only 109 people were affected by the travel ban (it was closer to 60,000).

That he had the biggest electoral college win since Reagan (G.H.W. Bush, Clinton, Obama had bigger wins).

Wikileaks isn’t sharing classified information

That time he was Implying there was a terror attack in Sweden

Obama had his “wires tapped.” That he was going to share his proof in a few weeks.

NATO doesn’t address terrorism (it has since the 1980s)

That new plants going up in Michigan were because of his presidential win (they were planned before his win)

No one cares about his tax returns except reporters (Polls show itherwise)

That some members left his business council because of emberasment of their products being made elsewhere (they left because of how he address the Charlotteville protest)
 
I was going to say, “I think he’s just a narcissistic liar,” but after reading your examples, and I now remember most of them myself since you jogged my memory, I think he may have neurological or mental health issues as well. They are lies that are so easily and quickly proven to be lies.

I knew he lied, and I knew he lied a lot, but mercy! Speechless! And many of the lies just make no sense.

It concerns me that the US has a serial liar for a president, and my concern has nothing to do with who the president is or what party he belongs to. He’s the “leader” of the free world. Truth is important. Very, very important. Lies engender dislike and mistrust. And some of Trump’s would cause laughter if the situation weren’t so serious and so sad.

Keep score? No. Having been in this forms for many years ago I have learned to recognize subtle moving of goalpost and deflection from the topic at hand.

No one here kept score. They just posted news articles from reliable sources who did.

I only started keeping score because of all the DENIAL I have seen here at CAF.

Maybe better question to ask is why there is so much DENIAL of Trump’s Lies here at CAF.

Generally speaking, what I have run across from those who have already read the Steele Dossier us that there is not much of anything that is surprising at this point as it confirms that, despite denials, at least some in the Trump camp had Russian connections and that the Russians were hacking into the DNC computers to get “dirt” on Hilary and then forwarding what they found to Wikileaks. And by now we already knew that the Trump camp well knew what the Russians were doing in general So, there was at least attempts at collusion by some on the Trump camp, but whether the Donald was involved and whether any laws were broken is another matter.

Feinstein did what she had to do as Grassely and Graham and the other Republicans were playing games with this, leaking information, some possibly classified, commenting on that info but then not allowing the entire dossier to be released. Now those two especially have a lot of mud on their face because the dossier simply is not really that controversial in regards to what we already know, plus there’s no information that suggests that Steele did anything wrong, especially since he forwarded this information to the FBI.

The reality is that the Republicans got caught in an attempt to first block and then try to discredit the dossier even before it being released. And now these clowns are blaming Feinstein of course when it was really they who were playing shady political games with this.
 
And no doubt, Mueller has every iota of the dossier investigated or is being investigated.

Yet I know people who supported and voted for Trump, and for many of them, he can do no wrong. I can’t figure them out. Will they ever reach the breaking point with this man and stop supporting a known serial liar? (Rhetorical question, and I’m not referencing anyone here at CAF. I don’t know who did and didn’t support Trump here, and I wouldn’t reference them if I did.)
