This might be considered superstition, and it might be best not to attribute to God or to the BVM or to the saints that which might only be coincidence.

if you read the latest comment, the person says statues, blah blah…believe in the lord and you’ll be saved.

Their house was spared…that’s what they are thankful for. Maybe it was just a coincidence that the statue was there However, God can work miracles in strange ways.
