Chrisse, dont you think your been a little hard on the muslims here? I mean, anyone who believes this guff is obviously 2 cans short of a 6 pack!
If anyone can really fall for the teachings of muhammad, they all of a sudden become ‘robots’ they are programmed with such answers and when challenged, they back down.
Its like when i computer has to think outside of its programming, it will go up in smoke…
Anyway, my stomach is still sore from laughing so hard on here sometimes, its almost material a comedian can use.

I think we’re experiencing what it was like for the Meccans when mohammet’s wife Khadija told him it was the Angel Gabriel who came to him in the cave. At first they were bemused, then amused, then irritated.

And planten forgets that the Jews who followed Christ were literate and wrote the scriptures down. And before that the Bible was written down.

While in mohammed’s case this wasn’t true. mohammed was not only illiterate, but a pagan, so had only stories that HE MIGHT HAVE HEARD. This is why the Bible stories are so garbled in the koran. And not even all of them are in there.

Then the koran was written down a few hundred years AFTER mohammed AND the ones who knew him had died. If anything is messed up it would be the koran.

He told his followers that the Bible was corrupted because he knew he didn’t know the Bible and his followers just blindly accepted it. And they follow it and worship it because they are told that if they change it they will go to hell, because mohammed said those who changed the Bible will go to hell.

mohammed was what I call ‘a piece of work’. I can understand why some poets warned others about mohammed. But, as with any good fascist ruler - he had them silenced by having them assasinated. And this is something the muslims just ignore - he had an old man over 100 yrs old, and a woman who had 5 kids and while still breastfeeding, both killed. They just don’t think anything is wrong with those scenarios.

When a group of people put an aura of goodness on something that is just evil - there is something wrong with the whole thing.

Human beings are very good at justifying their own evil to themselves, and some are excellent are selling it to others. Most though need tyranny and total indoctrination to actually have any impact outside of the few. One only has to see how paedophiles justify their “love”. Then, one only needs to go no further back than Hitler to see the last case.

Mohammet, however, managed to connect his evil to the afterlife. Mohammet, the greatest of deceiver’s greatest deceiver.

The Old Covenant with the Jews was for a time when human hearts were hardened. YHWH revealed Himself to the elect, His Chosen People through Abraham. In evolutionary terms, humanity was cruel, immoral, exceptions were there but not the rule. The Old Laws were necessary to prepare for YHWH’s full revelation through His Word in flesh.

Jesus Christ, God The Son, The Word made flesh by his ultimate sacrifice fulfilled the Old Laws and brought the New Covenant for all mankind for eternity.

I realise that for a muslim indoctrinated not to think nor ask questions regarding the contradictions, abrogations, evil, savagery, disgusting dehumanising behaviour of the one they worship - Mohammet - who’s revelations never raised to a level above his penis, it is difficult to lift yourself out of the sewer of mohammet’s doctrine into the purity of the Truth.

While I know there are muslims who are in the Lord’s grace despite Islam, the ones I meet in forums like these are not amongst them. Worse, in their wilful ignorance they blaspheme YHWH. Be aware, Muslim Woman, you are doing so by your own free will.

If Osama Ben Laden can hide in the caves of Afghanistan despite the technologically advanced US satellites and weapons, what make you think those puny Roman soldiers could do to find their (Early Christians) scriptures? Botton line, it must have been an angel because he felt shy of uncovering her head but wasn’t shy of her uncovering her legs! That was Khadija’s “test”…

In getting back to the OP’s question, how is having sex with what your “right hand possesses” not considered adultery? I have taken this phrase to mean not a spouse, but a captive woman (and I believe she may be either married or unmarried.)

4:24. Also (prohibited are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess: Thus hath Allah ordained (Prohibitions) against you: Except for these, all others are lawful, provided ye seek (them in marriage) with gifts from your property,- desiring chastity, not lust, seeing that ye derive benefit from them, give them their dowers (at least) as prescribed; but if, after a dower is prescribed, agree Mutually (to vary it), there is no blame on you, and Allah is All-knowing, All-wise.

4:25. If any of you have not the means wherewith to wed free believing women, they may wed believing girls from among those whom your right hands possess: And Allah hath full knowledge about your faith. The devil tested Jesus Christ Himself when Jesus went out to fast for 40 days and 40 nights. He asked Jesus to do similar things like you He asked Jesus “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down on these rocks”, Jesus Christ replied “You should not put your God to the test”. So sorry, but we dont curse each other, that is strictly from the devil, we also dont want to test our God, the Father Almighty.

I see your point, but we Christians are not allowed to put God to the test. That is a serious sin sister, why do Christians have to put a cure upon themselves in order to prove they are telling the truth? This confuses me very much, and I am actually shocked the Koran prohibs things like that. And Like I said, if the Jews mocked and imitated Jesus by saying "you claim youre the Son of the living God, but cant take yourself down from the cross? Jesus replied by asking His Father to forgive them. So us Christians need to imitate our humble God in every way possible.

Jay53, islamic marriage (nikah = a word I cannot say on this board) is adultery, let alone “right hand possesses” under the commandments of YHWH.

But under allah’s accommodating laws for mohammet, no it isn’t.

Khadija had the influence to say it was an angel who visited mohammed while it seems mohammed probably had it right to begin with - a demon.

And look at Aisha - she is the one who started the women being required to have 4 witnesses to a rape or else they are stoned.

And then the last one - finally - got it right… she used poison to finally put an end to his narcissistic self.
