I’m a Christian, earlier on we were called “the way” but know simply Christian or in the fold or saints.
Founded by Christ.

There is only 1 church founded by Christ. It is the Catholic Church. Christ founded his church in 33. Reference for Christ founding the church Matthew 16:18-19.But if you own and read a Bible you might know that. Don’t know if you have or even read that. It is a proven fact that Christ one founded 1 church

Re-read the thread and slow down a little Michael, I said that there are a couple specific apologist who have quoted the #33,000 for PROTESTANT denominations…

I try to flush out dishonesty in defending the faith by sharing some truths being misused and in return you see fit to both threaten and label me…This isn’t a polemic evangelistic approach its a call to USE truth in defending yourself. Truthfully your posts seem to indicate you are the one out of line.
BTW rightly dividing the word of truth is good to do**.👍 **

I am merely correcting you. Its still one of the 33000 other denominations, which departs from 1 denomination that Christ founded. Your ignorance has hindered you from providing any real evidence. You need to gather factual evidence before making ambiguous claims
 
Like many falsities, stopping their propagation is easier said than done. I suppose this one will stop being spread at about the same time Protestants stop saying that Catholics worship Mary.

I looked at your links they prove nothing. Church Militant and others have agreed. Why do you have so much trouble with us Catholics and we are the only ones that are trying to deceive with everything that comes from Catholicism?? That is what your bogus assertions mount to.

I don’t have troubles with catholics, I have a problem with people making false claims to forward their cause.

Ray and Staples CITED World Christian Encyclopedia (Oxford University Press and stated there are 33,000 protestant denominations… in the reference THEY cited it says 9490.

Can I spell it out any clearer?

They’ve long been informed of the innaccuracy and as recent as 1 month ago one of the 2 had a chance to clear it up and instead continued promoting it.
