Are you suggesting that Jews are not obligated to submit themselves to competent authority?
Yes, that’s exactly what I am saying. Jews have no such an obligation. Haven’t you ever heard about “two Jews, three opinions?” And this is no lack of a central head organization. Why? Because beliefs are not so important in Judaism as good deeds are. I mean, beliefs that lead to a bad deed as to harm the Jewish religion, yes. As for example, confession of loyalty to another religious organization is a bad deed.

But then again, the teachings adhered by the so-called Nazarenes were the same set of doctrines accepted by the so-called Christians. The sweetness of the rose remains whether you call it by another name.🤷
**That’s where you are absolutely mistaken. When Paul paid a visit to James and the Elders in the Nazarene headquarters in Jerusalem, James, in his welcome, said to Paul, “You see brother how many thousands of Jews have come to believe, all of them staunch defenders of the Law. Opposite to the information we get here that you are teaching the Jews in the Diaspora to abandon Moses, to stop circumcising their children, and to renounce their Jewish customs.” (Acts 21:20,21) That’s hardly the same set of doctrines adhered to by both, Nazarenes and Christians. The opposite is true. **

Why do you believe that Judaism is the true religion? I suppose you believe that Judaism is the true religion. If I am mistaken here, feel free to correct me. If not, feel free to answer my inquiry.

Ben Masada:
That’s where you are absolutely mistaken.
Acts 20
20When they heard it, they praised God. Then they said to him, ‘You see, brother, how many thousands of believers there are among the Jews, and they are all zealous for the law. 21They have been told about you that you teach all the Jews living among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, and that you tell them not to circumcise their children or observe the customs. 22What then is to be done? They will certainly hear that you have come. 23So do what we tell you. We have four men who are under a vow. 24Join these men, go through the rite of purification with them, and pay for the shaving of their heads. Thus all will know that there is nothing in what they have been told about you, but that you yourself observe and guard the law. 25But as for the Gentiles who have become believers, we have sent a letter with our judgement that they should abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols and from blood and from what is strangled* and from fornication.’ 26Then Paul took the men, and the next day, having purified himself, he entered the temple with them, making public the completion of the days of purification when the sacrifice would be made for each of them.
A classical example of misquotation and misrepresentation?🤷

Adrift, you are much more intelligent than you think I can see through. You know yourself about the mastery of the Church in interpolations. But I am not going to keep pressing this button in order not to embarrass you. But a great percentage of even the gospels has been interpolated by the Church.
That first sentence makes no sense to me. Perhaps you could restate it. If you have documentation, I would like to see it. You don’t embarrass me. I do not know of any valid interpolation accept from what I have seen you write.

You believe in prayer, don’t you? Why don’t you pray to Jesus and ask him the same question? His Faith was Judaism. Ask him why didn’t he choose another religion instead of Judaism? Obviously, he will tell you that it’s because Judaism is the true religion.

Acts 20

A classical example of misquotation and misrepresentation?🤷
There is absolutely no misquotation and misrepresentation here. Everything was so true that Paul accepted James’ advice to camouflage himself as an observer of the Law in the Temple to give the impression that he also observed the Law. He was not even under vow to do that. But being Paul what he was, he had no scrupples to go ahead with the mascarade. But since God is not to mock, some Jews from Asia identified him in the Temple and arrested him. As he was taken before the Sanhedrin and asked why he had been arrested, he came up with one of his customary lies: Because of his hope in the resurrection. Now, I ask you: Was this the reason why he had been arrested? No, it was not. But for a liar, one more lie won’t make much of a difference.

Of course! How could you? Touch the Church and the Catholic goes blind to see. He will find an excuse even for the Crusades and the Inquisition. No, God forbid that the Church did any of theose things!

Well, for a Jew like you, it is normal to subscribe to the lies perpetuated by the Jews.

After all, it was the Jews who bribed the Roman guards to spread lies to the people that the body of Christ was stolen in the middle of the night.

If there was a group who lived with lies, it was the group of Jewish priests.

Indeed it is well known fact that Jews lie and perpetuate lies 🤷 Indeed do not be swayed by those who would attempt to attack you for your reference to “the Jews” or those who would point out that a year or two has passed in time from the “incidents” on which you base your conclusion.

Why do you believe Judaism is the true religion?
Why don’t you accept the obvious? If I tell you my Jewish reasons why Judaism is the true religion you will bluf at my words. So, if Judaism was the Faith of Jesus, it is only obvious that it is the true religion.

**Do you see what I mean? You are perpetuating one of the lies of the NT. You know from the bottom of your heart the Jews are not that stupid to advise the soldiers to say that while they were sleeping the disciples came and stole the body of Jesus. How could they be believed if they were sleeping? The Hellenistic Gentile who wrote this was so anxious to lie that he made of himself a moron. He had no idea of the Jewish mind.

Listen my friend, we are only 15 millions in a world of more than 6 billion people and we monopolize half of all Nobel Prizes. Do you have any idea of the meaning of this? A People like that is not of the kind to give such advices. The gospel writer not only lied but also made a fool of himself.**

It is absolutely appropriate to question whether or not someone was lying. Whether that be Paul or anyone else. I think we need to be careful about tarring a whole group of people though. I think it is best to stick to the specific people…Paul or the authors of the gospels. While I do not believe they are lying, I believe that has to be evaluated. For example, my reason for rejecting the claims of other religions or sects that make extraordinary claims is directly related to whether or not I believe them.
Proceed with charity and caution. I think Jews should be understandably upset because there is a lot thrown on their shoulders in the NT.

With both yours and Stewart’s permission, I would like to tell you that this post of yours is very impressive. I see in it that you own a liberated mind. Shalom to you from Yerushalaim.

I was testing your statement that you don’t submit to competent authority. But it appears to me now, that in fact, you do.

Well, the Bible indicates the group of Jewish priests covered up the whole story about Christ’s resurrection.🤷

**Oh yes! My competent authority are the Scriptures:
Tanach, which is Torah, Neviim and Ketuvim. **
