My grandma could’ve taken on Chad at that point… Chad had neither his ultimate right arm attack nor even his left arm. Chad doesn’t have shunpo, he doesn’t have kido, and lets not forgot even Ichigo was barely able to fight Kenpachi to a draw at that time.

We still don’t know the whole story about Chad’s powers. In fact, it’s entirely a mystery so far - he’s not a shinigami or a Quincy and his powers are more Hollow than anything…

My predictions:
  1. Gin Ichimaru (or is it Ichimaru Gin? I keep bouncing from translation to translation and some idiots switch the character’s surnames and given names around) ISNT a traitor after all.
  2. Tousen gets hosed in the most satisfying manner.
  3. We never get to see Unohara or Yamato’s real fighting skills.
  4. Orihime x Ichigo FINALLY happens.
  5. The Arrancar arc is going to be merely a setback for Aizen…(you have to play WoW to get that one, though).
Kube or whatever his name is, has already stated that…brace for impact…this ISNT the last arc and after this will be a Kurosaki Isshin arc (did i spell that right?). The bodies hanging in Apporo’s lab will have something important to do with this and he will make another boatload of money for milking the series beyond a reasonable point.

Only the other “weaboos”…

I fervently deny i am one, as I have a love/hate relationship with anime, and not the SQUEEEEEEEEEE relationship most ppl have.

On the other hand, we just need to spread the revolution.

I agree. I still think though that being a Taichou isn’t just so you could wear a fancy white coat with a symbol on it.

And yeah, Orihime is the only other character I know who has distinctly unique abilities… I guess I should start catching up real soon to find out more about them. (Just soon as I find a way to pour out the inspirational mood I’ve been getting from Final Fantasy. :o)

NEVAAARRR!!! DX (Sorry, loyal IchiRuki fan here :o)

Well as long as the series maintains good continuity and doesn’t have plot holes, I could forgive its lengthiness. It’s better than watching a couple of village idiots engaging in acts of random pointlessness (coughSpongebob-and-Patrickcough). At this rate though, Naruto is going to be the one that finishes first. They’ve already started presenting the appetizers. (Sasuke VS Gaara? Oh yeah! BRING IT ON!!! >8D)

I know! Let’s have a rousing round of everyone’s favorite anime:
  1. Male protagonist
  2. Female protagonist
  3. Antagonist
  4. One-liner
  5. HOLY COW moment
ready, set, go!

Oooh! Ahh! Oomph!! struggles to think due to so many >.<
  1. Sabaku no Gaara
  2. Azmaria Hendric
  3. Sephiroth
  4. Stay where you belong… in my memories.
  5. SPOILER WARNING] When Hinata finally confesses to Naruto.

This is a shameless bump. This is only a shameless bump. Do not attempt to adjust your PC’s internet settings:

I thought I would do a lil advertisement for this years Anime Milwaukee. This years Anime Milwaukee is better organized and far larger. Guests will included the Anti-Christ himself, Vic Magnona. Thankfully, the yaoi content will likely be lessened as the yaoi panel guest woman from last year has been arrested on possession of illegal substances and it is not known yet if she can attend.

Also:
  • Shikibane Hime is an entire season’s worth of fanservice needlessly stretched over twenty-some episodes. If I wanted to see another anime that deals with self-doubt, coming of age, loss, depression, and self-identity featuring partial nudity, I would just watch an episode of *Neon Genisis Evangelion *again.
-Bleach manga current developments: PLOTKAI!

-Vampire Knight == Revolutionary Girl Utena, but with less yuri/yaoi pairings.

-Blood+: see **Shikibane Hime, ***above.

*-Bleach anime current developments: Filler is good for once in anime history.

-Inuyasha: They might be re-making the anime series. This is good news for whoever wanted another chance to see any sort of beginning or end or resolution or plot beyond “But the [insert objective here] is in another castle!”

-Chobits: Because “hentai” is such a negative word…

-Phantom: Bring back *Ein

-Big O*: Mecha, check…Robot chick, check…Butler with big guns, check…Batman, check…Evil Europeans, check…Not knowing what the series is about, check.

-Wolf’s Rain: It’s like the movie adaptation of Pink Floyd’s “The Wall,” you need to be on drugs to understand/enjoy it.

That’s weird. I watched the first few episodes and there was barely anything resembling a panty shot.

Aww, but I like Chobits. Sure, the nudity is a huge issue there but you can’t deny the ending had the same moral along the lines Twiilght did (okay not the best example but I hope you get the idea).

P.S.

My sister watches Vampire Knight and reads the manga. I advise you never to speak of it like this whenever she’s present lest she blood-sacrifices you to Kaname Kuran. >_>;;

20th Century Boys !!!

I´m reading it again, is great !!!

Someone has seen the movies?

I only saw some images and the people in the cast have a good likeness to the manga characters

God Bless You !!!
:):)🙂
I saw 1 and 2 on DVD, but I spoiled myself.
Let me just tell you that there’s a very crucial difference between the manga and the movie…there are a lot of ‘minor’ changes (usually done to speed up the pacing of the plot or to accommodate the difference), but there is technically one major change - they even advertised the 3rd movie here as “having a different conclusion from the manga”. I’m not saying what it is. 😉

Dragonaut: The Resonance - Giving more evidence to Argh’s statement that Anime is just an excuse to draw pr0n. I mean, really, they’re not even trying anymore.

*Soul Eater *- Because shinigami are cool…Naruto shinigami are COOLER…Naruto *shinigami *with guns are COOLEST!

Gunslinger Girl - Loli with gun says what?

  1. Not sure… Maybe one of Tezuka’s characters. There’s going to be a movie based on his Buddha manga, hopefully it will be good.
  2. Hitomi Kanzaki, The Vision of Escaflowne
  3. As a group, the Homunculi from the '03 Fullmetal Alchemist
  4. “…in America”
  5. The midpoint of Escaflowne. Up until then the villains got to win each and every time, destroying entire populations and side characters with their cool liquid metal and invisible armor. Eventually a dozen villains surround one of the heroes, hoping to end things personally. SPOILER] They are not only beaten but slaughtered relentlessly when the character they were pursuing totally snaps-- going from consistently gentle and unsure of himself to a surprisingly invincible fighter via some fatal curse – he then goes insane and sees the ghosts of his victims shortly before having a heart attack and joining them. Still one of the best cliffhangers I’ve seen on television; the song that went with the sequence, “Epistle”, is just about perfect.

It’s not getting a remake, but it is getting a sequel to finally end the show. New episodes are currently being put up at Hulu under ‘Inuyasha: Final Act.’

The anime I watch, or at least need to catch up with are Naruto Shippuden and Bleach.

Other than that, I’ve been re-watching Transformers: Super-God Masterforce (part of the Japanese exclusive Generation 1 series from the 1980s), and will watch Transformers Victory afterwords.

Despite being 2 years younger than me, I love Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, and 0083 Stardust Memory.

Code Geass was a reasonably good series as well.

Escaflowne was seriously good, I forgot about that. An entire series without filler? It can be done.

[SPOILER KINDA]

But doesn’t Inuyasha in the manga just “end” with nothing “ending?”

On a random note. Today at mass the priest, for whatever reason, really stressed the “eat it” part when he raised the host to consecrate it. I felt really bad because youtube.com/watch?v=kaoy1QKxGQs popped right into my head. :o

Inuyasha has a definite ending in the manga, though apparently there’s a lot of inessential material beforehand. Fortunately the new show is only 26 episodes long; the pacing is actually decent. (Still can’t stand Miroku jokes though).

It’ll be interesting to see how the real ending compares to the ending from one of the video games: youtube.com/watch?v=6np8-b17eqU
^ If there is ever a stand-alone Inuyasha film, that would be my choice of ending.

Argh:
Potato Chips lulz
There’s a Death Note American remake in the works. It’s a shame Alessandro Juliani doesn’t look like L, he’s otherwise perfect for the role.

I seriously hope that the rumors of Zac Efron being Light are false. Please… just please!! DX
