You’re trying to toss apples into the orange cart here. How can you draw a comparison to raping and beating a human being to the humane killing of an animal for meat? I’m not a hunter, but I am a fisherman and I love nature. Most of the hunters I know love the animals they kill and are thankful to have the opportunity and ability to do so. I don’t really approve of trophy killing, and all the fish I catch get eaten, but what you’re trying to say doesn’t make any sense.Suppose a man regularly rapes and beats his girlfriend, and one day, a neighbor decides to do the same - but with more “gentleness.” Are the neighbor’s actions okay if he says: “The boyfriend is always much crueler?”
What’s wrong with teaching kids the right way to do something? I can’t wait to take my son out for his first fishing trip, as I’m sure those here who advocate hunting were excited to take their sons and daughters hunting to hand down the knowledge they’ve gained. As always, there’s a right way and wrong way to do something, and of all the hunters I know, they are eager to teach anyone the right way to hunt.
