I would add to that the crime of being played by Hayden Christensen.

Cloud City signed a treaty of non-aggression with the Empire which was sporadically broken, so the use of cryogenic equipment was illegal under intergalactic law. I just don’t think the Empire cared is all.
Does legality (or lack thereof) fit into the definition of “atrocity”? :hmmm:

A…excuse me but some of those things were alleged to happen in the three - pre-movies…

Hence invalid

🙂

B-but… But what if you’re one of those weird people that finds it fun to overanalyze fiction?
I think there’s nothing wrong with it if it’s actually fun for those doing the overanalyzing. IMO (and I realize your experience may vary), it’s done in such a way that is sucks the fun of stuff for everyone else.

But nobody is being forced to view this thread. 🤷

Don’t like the thread? Stop reading it and posting on it. Problem solved.

Can nothing just be fun anymore? Does everything have to be picked apart and psychoanalyzed?
Und vat makes you think that? Tell us about your kindergarten years… 😃

Vader was a hater, the rebels said “see you later!”
Then vader saw the light, and he turned out all right!

I know, don’t quit yer day job…😊

One thing you have to look at is whether you’ll be better off after the revolution.
You might be better off under an orderly but brutal empire than the chaotic brutality rising from the aftermath.
Think of the Pax Romana then how things started to break down as various Caesars fought for the succession then the final fall of Rome. Obviously Roman rule was better.
