You can test for the absurdity of the BC by looking for a sentence you know to be untrue or nonsensical - it will definitely be in there šŸ™‚ If a book is long enough, the same info will be found - it certainly need not be the Bible.

The whole thing is rubbish - as was Michael Drosnin’s false prophecy, based on the supposed code, of nuclear war in 2006.

All prophecies of the end, & all claims to set a date - without exception - are worthless, false, empty, & absolutely certain not to be fulfilled. And they will always find somebody to believe them: that I guarantee šŸ™‚
I agree…which is why it is so much fun to just create dates. Only, if people take those dates seriously, or think we are serious about those dates…it ruins the fun of the joke.
Jesus said that only the Father knew the day and time. So why should we try to predict it? It doesn’t make sense. Like saying, ā€œWell even though Jesus said it, let’s not believe it…what does He know anyway?ā€ HOW ABSURD!!!
Now, I believe that Jesus and the Bible gives us clear signs of the times for the end times…and it is important that we read these signs. But as for the day and time of day, that is totally ABSURD…except as a joke. And then it is just funny.

Who’s year 2012 will things happen? Australias? 🤷 (cause they have it first) or maybe the the catastrophe will wait for europes year 2012 to come around? or maybe a different catastrophe will happen everytime a new timezone declares it 2012! šŸ˜› 😃

My mother once sent me an email about where the middle of the Bible was. Of course when I actually did the same thing using my Bible I came to a completely different verse in Scripture. They were using the modern KJV. The came up with Psalm 118:8. I don’t remember what the verse was that I came up with, should have put into the computer but…, I do know that it was NOT Psalm 118. If I remember right it was one of the Psalms just not Psalm 118.
Anyone here know where the middle of the Catholic Bible is?

The Day and Hour Unknown
ā€œNo one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come.ā€

That settles things then. Any person of faith will believe Jesus Himself rather than pagans.

I don’t believe in the bible code but I find it interesting that in ancient times you have texts like that of Rabanus Maurus who placed a cross with a message in the middle of one of his texts. It is very interesting and it must have taken a long time to plan. Here is a picture of a manuscript of Rabanus Maurus.
