Qur’an is the book which is most being red. Espesially in nowadays of Ramadan Qur’an is being red in Mosques and homes. In Mosques Hafizs read and other Muslims listen to Qur’an. In Ramadan many Muslim try to read whole Qur’an in Ramadan. That is at least 20 pages per day. Here the fruit is that: People do not read but Qur’an make them to read. I mean it is charm of Qur’an which make people to read. That fascinating of Qur’an is sourced from pure revelation from God. Qur’an(pure words of God) foster moral heart and the mind. And it is also a bit musical. Qur’an teach how to pray and worship. Qur’an teach the moral laws. Qur’an teach or point all sciences. A child can memorize the whole Qur’an. etc. etc. And all those make Qur’an miraculous. Is there any book equal to Qur’an?
 
Not taking the bait on that one, and read is the word you want, not red (that’s a color). Peace to you.

You have quite some nerve posting that after what happened in Orlando. Islam didn’t stop Omar Mateen, did it? It seemed only to encourage him. You must be either trolling or extremely insensitive. If the Qu’ran really did inspire people to behave morally, you wouldn’t have posted this.

you mean because it is the holiday of Ramadan the Quran is the most widely read book? however, there are many many people who read scripture or the Bible everyday too - both Jews and Christians!
 
You are promoting an agenda. That is prohibited by forum rules. Please read them. You have never questioned Islam, because you cannot question it. I understand why you have zero doubts are are so breathlessly promoting it.

Rather, look at the worldwide fruits of Islam. What is it producing? What is in the news each day?

Akhi, it’s true that many children memorize the Qur’an, but that doesn’t mean they know what it means. Many children today are learning how to recite Qur’an, but have no clue what the meaning of those words are. That’s hardly praise-worthy. If you were to ask every muslim child why we cannot believe that Jesus is the Son of God, I guarantee you would find that many of them wouldn’t know the answer.

Sending children to Tajweed class is useless if you don’t teach them the meaning of what they’re reciting. It’s more than about what words mean-- it’s about how those scriptures are applied on a daily basis. Many muslim children are not being taught well by their parents.

You do realize the words you are saying are the exact words fundamentalist Christians say about the Bible?
Christianity has a book, the Bible. But Christianity existed before the Bible was put together and Catholics certainly do not look at it as a kind of ‘magic book’. If the Bible disappeared tomorrow, we would still have Christianity.
 
Are you sure that children reading the Quran? I thought that educating women was frowned on in the Muslim world.

Literalism is a fault and can even distort the message. It is worshiping the means of communication rather what is communicated. This can happen in any religion. We cannot get carried away by language or any kind of pictorial art or music.

Christianity lies on a continuum; the history of the Chosen People cannot be separated from it. The human Christ came from the root of Jesse. There is no Christianity without the Bible.

Of course one can say there is Christ before the world began, but that is something else.
