I’ve had fun looking through the yearbook. I do have a question. Who exactly are we looking for here? Is this the CA class of '05, the Paronoid club folks, the Mudgies, the Junkies, the apologetics staff, the moderators? Who?

O.K. I see there’s a name at the top. So this is a picture of dumspirospero. But which one is you dumspirospero? And by the way, thanks for serving our country. We appreciate your efforts and sacrifice.

This is a picture of me with my husband a few days before we were married in 1999.

Edward (sitting in the back):
'Edwin, let’s get going! Can’t you start this thing?"

Me: “I can but I can’'t find the controls on how to start this thing.”

(We’re a year and a half old in this pic)

Does anyone else have baby pictures of yourself you’d want to share?
Warning: I think you have to hit your back button after looking at my image, I X’d out of it and it took me completely out of the forums 😃
This is me when I was one year old, many, many, moons ago.

This is my Sweet Prince…William.

(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

This is his sister Amber in his high school theatre the first time after his death, she said lots of prayers for him, and reminded the Theatre teacher that he is still here…he liked it too much!

Wills tinyist sister Shawntal. She still went in to the theatre that day calling for him as usual, “Willy dog, you can come home now…we’re here to take you home!” Then she cried but latter was laughing knowing he could never run, but now he can fly and beat us home!

Of course, there is my off duty, Trogladyte photo.

Your whole family is beautiful, your children look so sweet and tender-hearted, like you (that must have been where Will learned to be such a sweety.) 😃

Thanks hun, it is a really nice thing to hear…to know that one can simply appear tender. They are. It is hard, but very rewarding work being a mom that is concerned with the future, and afterlife of their little babes.

The Ram,

What beautiful children. Your son William had such wonderful soulful eyes. Did he like the theater?

Theatre…Yes, it was his life! He was very shy, but connected with the Lord. His past with his father, and step father were rocky on their parts, and it affected his self esteme. He found a way to believe in himself there, a safe haven of people who would neve laugh at you. He simply blossomed and became a real gentleman, settled, and very asured of his goals and direction. He peer tutored, helped the needy, believed in the pilgramge very deeply, walk against male violence, pro-life, and every person who needed to talk…he was there for them all…so peacefully. Funny thing, he prayed about everything before he ever did it, but no one even knew. He was simply very kind.

He later taught theatre classes, was involved in every aspect of it…it was his home…his family away from home. He wanted to be a teacher to inspire others in finding themselves, being themselves, and honoring their lives. He wanted to teach theatre, as well as religion. He wanted to help them to come out of their shell, and be who they felt God wanted them to be. To listen to your inner voice.

Man, even to me he was cool. He was funner than any friend i ever had. I often joked that the he had the heart and soul of a little old man…way to wise, and often reminded and pointed the way for me. It is why i miss him so, it is so hard to do life, “alone,” and you are never alone in a silent room with him. He simply had mastered…well…just BEEE-ing. His presence was comforting. Funny, so many at the funeral thought the same way.

He loved the candlelight ceremony they did at school for things like the pilgramage. They would start with one candle…and then slowly the whole gym was lit up in golden hues. “Look how it’s growing Ma, isn’t it awsome…if everybody did just a little bit…well it is just very hopeful, don’t you think so Ma?” (that was in grade 11) I was suprised watching him watch the candles growing.

So, i was insistent on having one at his funeral. Of course, i always reached over to him and brushed the outside of my hand/fingers alongside of him, his cheek or arm. Just to let him know i cared. Here i sat, next to his casket…reaching out to him, i caressed the material like that. We were still traveling…like on the way to school. This was our last trip, and i was gonna miss caressing his cheek. He had his high school members of the honour guard at the isle entrance to every row of pews. His best friends (2) took the two girls…one each. They went to the alter, lit a candle off of the alter, then they walked them down the isle towards the back, but first stopping at every honour guard to light their candle. When the girls came back to their seats, the church was all glowing and they sung Seize the day along with the song blairing a tribute to him. He lived, Carpe Diem…Seize the day!

Gosh, if i could acomplish in my life, what he did in 18 years…i will be very very blessed! I miss him dearly!

All the same eyes…mostly Amber and Will. I think it was from staring into each others eyes. They shared a room for her second and third year. She would want him, and him being bigger would pull the crib right next to his bed, and they would stare at each other hand in hand singing lulabies to each other. I’d find them asleep still holding hands. Then Shawny came around and as Will put it, “she put some shimmy in our shake and livend up the place!” She’s a go getter! Brave and fearless…like Will on stage. Amber represents him off stage.

So i have both halves of him in them, rightfully so, as acting father, guardian angel, and disciplinarian for life. He wanted to be a father some day…but he was!

Rammy, you seriously ought to write a book about his life, just reading the little bits and pieces that you post here and there is just so endearing, I would love to know his whole life, told from his loving mother’s point of view. I hope you write it soon, I mean that.

You know what…he saved up so much saying some day he wanted to write about his own experiences…maybe his memwars(sp?) and i often snickered saying that for as much as he had already gone through, there was going to be volumes!

He loved writing, but chatting, there was no capitals etc…he was tired, and used the energy he had left in a day. He had colapsed in the theatre after the show and we had all gotten a scare…we did not know it was strep yet. we all gathered and i held his hand caressed his cheek and we waited untill he was rested and ready to come out from the wings. His drama teacher was so upset that he had to endure life this way. She had gotten very close, dispensed his meds, and we had become friends with her family. Will sat at home, as usual, not ever wanting to go to bed with out addressing everything. He wrote to her this touching note…

I feel it is my duty as your friend to bring to light to a subject that I know troubles you, especially after tonight’s episode.

My entire life I have struggled each day with my medical condition. Whether it is physical, mental or spiritual trials, I have learned to accept it not as a curse, but as a gift from god. It has opened my eyes and allowed me to look at the world in a different perspective. To appreciate the little things that people take for granted. I have seen a lifetime of hurt, in my own life and in others. Years of coming to terms with my condition and accepting my self for who I am. My father, although I hardly remember him now, played a large roll in my self-esteem, and thus I have always doubted myself. Luckily, my grand father took me under his wing and taught me how to dream the impossible. Without dreams and goals there is little point to existence, it is what makes us human, the ability to seek more in life, to have hope in times where it seems impossible. I believe a miracle is what allows me to continue each day, despite what statistics say. It is because of this, that I made the choice to seize the day (Carpe Diem) and make my life extraordinary. I could have allowed myself to give up on life and wait in fear of the end. But instead I chose to dream, to work hard for what I wanted in life. A person once said, shoot for the moon and even if you miss you’ll at least be among the stars. I have seen horrible things in the past. I have seen how addiction, greed and pride can destroy lives, but I choose to learn from their mistakes.

Tonight when I was lying down in the wings, struggling for breath, it wasn’t the inhalers or the water that made me better. It was the people around me that cared enough to stay by my side. The tears you saw were not tears of fear, but rather tears of joy. I have spent my life trying to use the time I have left to change the world, in small steps, starting with the people around me. Trying to live an example that may inspire others to not give up, but to hold on to hope and dream the impossible. The reason I was crying is because I was overwhelmed at the fact that in one of my darkest moments, I was not alone. I was put in awe that so many people cared. Inspired because it gave me hope that there is good in the world and that we can change it. But it needs to start with “We”. We need to believe that change is possible. We need to believe in love.

You often wonder why I want to become a Teacher. It’s because I want to inspire. To give other’s the tools to dream and change their own lives. To become better people and cherish life. You doubt yourself all the time, but what you forget is that you change lives every day. Not because you’re a teacher, but because of the person you are and the heart you possess. Even if you are frustrated, remember that you can’t fix everyone, but you can help a few, and that is the greatest accomplishment you will ever achieve. If anything, take pride in what you have done for me, because you have made a difference in the person I am, and the person I will be.

Thank you,

Love Will

That’s my Willy dog…with a heart the size of forever…it is how we spoke to each other every day. We also laughed, teased, and made faces…he was a big kid, a solid friend, a jokester, a comedian and was extremely good at improv…he had to be, in this crazy unpridictable life he lived. I loved every second of it!
