This is a real problem. An employee of mine had a motorcycle accident and went in a coma. Relatives were insistently asked to sign organ donation documents for days. Curiously enough, 15 minutes after signing the papers he “died”, and they proceeded with the organ harvest. This is why I carry a card saying I don’t want to donate my organs, not out of callousness, but because I don’t want to killed for them.
