Luther did the devil’s work. Plain and simple.
Our Lord taught that we will know them by their fruits. 500 years on, the fruits of the “reformation” are that Europe has abandoned Christianity and is now facing a new Islamic incursion and the violence it brings.
 
That’s true. I just wish Luther kept it all in the Church and listened to the Magisterium. He’s a worse heretic than Arius and the Gnostics combined.

Puh-leeze. My reaction was based on reading two of your posts: one that castigated a poster for daring to mention things about Luther that weren’t positive, and another telling Catholics that they weren’t not to blame for the Reformation.

If you think this isn’t how you come across, then I’ll assume in charity that you don’t realize the impression you’re giving.
Is this the New RCC Evangelization? Belongs in the back alley.
The New Evangelization isn’t about whitewash. And, truth never should be relegated to the back alley, even if it makes us uncomfortable.
