The Country Where Exorcisms Are on the Rise--Mexico

All countries are under attack but wouldn’t the devil want to attack those countries where people have been the most faithful?

Or another idea: maybe they believe in exorcisms more in Mexico and the rest of us in the world put up with foolish rationalization of evil.

Unfortunately, the cult of the “Santa Muerte” is VERY popular down here. A lot of people who call themselves “Catholics” are into it. I go into the market, and in front of it, there is someone selling all that. I looked at one of the statues, once, thinking it was the “Pieta”, with the Blessed Virgin Mary holding Jesus after his death. The Blessed Virgin Mary had been replaced with that skeleton!

I have been trying to talk a neighbor, who claims to be VERY Catholic, out of all of this. It hasn’t been easy. I brought over my Catechism of the Catholic Church and at least got him thinking.

I got up my courage and approached one at the market selling these things and told her it was not good. She just nodded and went about her business.

At that market booth, they sell other statues of the saints and such but include death along with it.

The Catholic I’m trying to pull away from this had an altar for “Day of the Dead”, and it was complete with that skeleton. At times, I’ve held my tongue, waiting for the right moment to come, and it did.

Within half a block of where I live, they make ceramics, and most are pretty harmless…everything from piggybanks on up. Once, they had a VERY large image of that statue.

I’ve seen it where it’s standing with its foot over the world.

We have a LOT of evil down here, presently, like you wouldn’t believe.

Yahoo Mexico is very different, say, than the American version. I saw where they showed pictures, one of a real guy crucified…hung on a very high road sign, castrated and all the rest. So, it seems there is truth to that article.

I hope they do bring more exorcists in here. It’s a shame, because Mexico used to be the one country Pope John Paul II used to refer to as, “always faithful”. We had the War of the Cristeros, and the Mexicans made me very proud, how they would rather be martyred than deny their faith, even children were martyred.

Yet, of late, we do have a terrible influence.

I once went into a very poor place where they had a bunch of rooms for rent, and out of about maybe 6 apartments, 4 had pictures of the Santa Muerte on their doors. They were almost across the market I mentioned above.

We need to pray for all the world, and of course, given all this, remember to include Mexico.

This story reminds me of the Isrealites worshipping the golden calf. Poverty is a major problem in Mexico. Sadly these people have found false hope by accepting the devil’s lies.

Satanically inspired and so sad the poorly Catechized & many young are into it because they probably know no better, God have Mercy !

What’s the reason to replace what is holy with these diabolical things?

What do these things provide that the traditional Catholic Church and Her teachings do not?

Some don’t know what they’re getting into, others know only too well what people are getting into, it provides a quick fix for some, no different to what satan tempeted Jesus with, " I will give you all these things if you fall down and worship me "

Fr Peter Mary Rookey says once we invite him in he is quick on the up-take, so DON’T invite him in, he’s quite hard to shift +++
