Okay, you’re right, no prelates. Okay, how do you get this Catholic Shangri la to occur? And what if you got people like Pelosi, Kennedy, Kerry, or Giuliani?

Sorry, a Catholic divine right government if at best an anachronistic idea. At worst, I guess goofy could be the kindest thing to say.

John
You’re right. An Enlightenment-era government founded by Masons and Deists that doesn’t recognize the existence of Absolute Truth is much better.

Nothing goofy there.

You have me confused with someone else, obviously. I have never advocated anointing a Prince of the Church and Successor of the Apostles as a leader of our civic government.
However, I have, and still do advocate anointing a “Prince of the Church and Successor of the Apostles” as a leader in our civic government.

Let the Bishop of Rome choose one of our American Bishops to be our “king”! I would support that whole heartedly!!!

Long Live King-Cardinal Roger I of the house of Mahony! :clapping:

Long Live King -Bishop Tod I of the house of Brown! :clapping:

Excuse me while I go find a bucket to retch into.

Think they’d get the “nod” to rule America?

Don’t be so naive!

Archbishop Wilton Daniel Gregory here in Atlanta would be our “prince”!

Excellent Point:thumbsup: Most elude this fact, that he was homosexual, when speaking about His Version of the Bible (KJV). I did not know about the armor detail. Interesting historical detail.🙂
What does James I’s homosexuality have to do with the King James Bible?

And according to my college history prof., he once pooped in his armor.
harrruumff!! only once!??
I would wager almost everybody in those days did that at least once. it takes a while to find a spot… get prepared, clean up … and put the stuff back up… and in the middle of conflict or preparation for conflict you might not have a choice.
