point of clarification: the Catholic idea of free will, amply explained in the CCC, and so-called “Catholic” existentialism are NOT the same thing, and in fact are diametrically opposed.

For whatever it is I’ve done, you are of course welcome. But just remember: I’m not the one who can make you choose the right way: you are. So thank yourself for making that choice… or something like that.Jason,
that makes much more better sense than
before. I do believe that I exist for a reason
but there are some times in my life that I believe
I dont. But anywho thanks for reminding why we
are all here… for a reason, not exactly for a reason
but a reason for God… God is the reason we are all
here on this catholic board. Thats probably the reason why im here
asking about different questions in my mind… pondering different things. Existentialism is just a big word for free choice like you said and that probably what made me so confused at the time,
Im not as smart as you on the bible either or Catholicism.
So anywho thanks in advance, for everything.
This has been a big help to me.
Thanks!

No, no let’s not go there… I feel stupid for even having let these crazy philosophies seep into my mind.Im not as smart as you on the bible either or Catholicism.
'Twas the darndest thing… that night, as I sipped my hot beverage, all went bitter; and what should have been suddenly became not! Oh my! Those French need to change a few things, I say indeed!Tonight I’m really going to enjoy some delicious French coffee (which I did not precede), while relaxing and fellowshipping with loved ones (some of which are older than I!)…
