This reply is for Anna, but I’m not sure if it will show up as a reply to her latest message:
Hello, Anna-The Bible in the book of Revelation refers to hell as the lake of fire and where the worm never sleeps? sounds like a really bad place. I have always been taught it is eternal separation from God. I have not studied it in detail, but the story of Lazarus and the rich man in the gospels clearly shows the rich man is in torment in hell and he wants all his friends to convert so that they won’t have to go there like he did. On a side note, this story is also a good example from Holy Scriptures about how the dead do care what is going on on earth and are alive after death.
Either in heaven or in hell.
