Is it “mental reservation” to leave out that the percentage of pedophiles in the general population is about the same?
 
Just as a matter of interest, how did this thread end up in Secular News? Didn’t it start off in the Apologetics forum? :confused:

It’s a news item, so the moderators moved it to the News forum. Similar things happen when non-news items are placed in the News forums - the moderators move them into the Apologetics forum. It’s pretty simple actually.

If someone wants to start another thread in the Apologetics forum about mental reservation without attaching it to a news item, it would, no doubt, stay there.

But why is it in Secular News? It’s a news item about a Catholic issue.
 
Because the job of a moderator is thankless and hard, and everyone makes mistakes sometimes.

Now would be a good time to think of them, and thank them. If this is the worst mistake they ever make, they won’t be doing too badly.
