For my mom, dad and father in law, Marina, Patrick and Michael. May you all rest in peace, how you are all missed especially over this time of the year.

I would like to remember 3 people who have died in 2008:

The last was my dear mother, Mary Ann MacDonald, who died on the day I was to ride the train to my house of formation in the Capuchin Order in August. She was an exceptional mother, who raised 7 children with much grace and wisdom. She never complained about her work in raising us all, became an awesome cook, and always wore a smile. I will be overjoyed to see you in Heaven, Mom!

Robert and Alma Brooks were my God-daughter’s grandparents as well, and suffered much in their last months, Bob in the last 3 decades or so with MS. They were also great examples of how a Christian should act, and were very sweet and gracious people. May God bring them both into what they so very much deserve!

While our families will not be the same without these fine people, their example to all of us has affected us such that we will have the grace and strength and wisdom to do quite well in their absence!

May their Souls and all the Souls of all the Faithful Departed by the grace of our Dear Lord and Brother Jesus Christ rest in loving peace!
Amen! :signofcross:

As 2008 has ended and 2009 begins, let us rejoice over the blessings that each one of the loved ones listed in this memorial thread have been to us, and their contributions to the common good of their respective communities, families, friends, and all those who have been touched by their presence…

Oh most gracious and tenderly loving God: lift up these your precious children and let them partake of all the promisses that you have extended to all who follow You…and accept their petitions on behalf of the people they have left behind, for You have a fondest and most longing love for these as well… As You forsook Your greatness to humbly become a lowly human, bring us all who love You into the inheritance we do not deserve, but You have most generously extended to us your people, and unite us all in Your Kingdom where we might all exist in eternal bliss as one through and in You!

We pray this in the Name of Your Most Holy Son Jesus Christ, in union with The Advocate, Who live and reign with You now and forever!
Amen!

I wish to remember and pray for my friend Dean who retired November 1 after 43 years of service to our company and passed on December 28, and for his loving wife who supported him through his battle with cancer.

Loving God, Dean was a good and strong man who loved You and Your people and cared for them well. Please receive our dear friend Dean and have mercy on his soul. May our Blessed Mother Mary comfort Dean. Thank You Lord for Your eternal love for Your people, thank You for Your Son Jesus who showed us the way, and thank You for the loving Holy Spirit who lives within us and helps us to respond and love Your people to the best of our abilities. You are the one true God - Holy, Righteous, and Just and we thank You for the gift of Your unconditional love.

I pray in the name of Your Beloved Son Jesus, empowered by Your Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever.

Amen.

First, I pray for Dean, may he rest in the inhritance he deserves, and may his family be granted peace in his memory and assurance of his salvation. In the name of our most Blessed Savior- Amen

I want to lift up Frank Kowalczek, a dear man from my home parish of St. Mary, who passed yesterday from lung cancer. Frank [Francis] was a devoted Catholic, Christian, and sachristen. He kept working for our pastor until he could not possibly do any more. Frank was an extraordinarily kind and affectionate man, who was the embodiment of the word meek-in the original context of the word- graceful yet powerful.

May God grant Francis Kowalczek eternal peace and joy-In the company of Mary our Queen, and all the Saints that have gone before him.
Amen!

For all our deceased family and friends. Eternal rest grant unto them, Lord. May your perpetual light shine upon them. Merciful Jesus, grant them eternal rest, happiness and peace. Amen.
Remembering my beautiful best friend Caterina who died 8 years ago of cancer. She was the mother of 7 children and she would have been so proud of them. They have grown up beautifully and remember her. One of her sons (My Godson-Sebastian) is so gorgeous and I am proud of him.
Eternal rest give to Caterina Lord.
GraceAngel.
