Praying …Eternal rest grant unto them OH Lord and let your perpetual light shine upon them and may their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in your peace…Amen.
 
For the eternal rest of my friends’ daughter who died today, leaving three children in a fatherless home; for those grieving children and the grandparents who will now raise them.
 
For all my relatives who have died, going all the way back to Adam and Eve. (I don’t want to leave anyone out.) For all who have died in battle during my lifetime, starting with the fathers of my childhood friends who fought in Viet Nam to my current friends who died in Afghanistan and Iraq. For the unknown soldiers in every war who have no one to pray for them. For my dearest West Coast friend who didn’t believe in God, but who I hope was pleasantly surprised to meet Him after death. For him, I ask God’s special mercy and indulgence because he taught me how to love my neighbor better than any Christian ever has. I practiced the faith, but he practiced charity to a heroic degree. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace Amen.
 
I know this is for prayer for the Faithfully Departed…but would really like to ask for prayers for everyone born today and everyone that will die today. And for all souls that are suffering…to be prayed for as well. Thanks.

Remembering my dad Joaquim Anthony who died on 25 February 13 years ago and
my mum Maria Angelica who died on 29th May last year

Hello All,

What a lovely thread. I’d like to please add my daughter, Ava Therese. We were recently pregnant with our first child. She was due on January 14, 2011, but in my 5th month of pregnancy, we lost her. She was born at 8:13 PM on August 23rd, and weighed 9.6 ounces, 10.5 inches long. I am so grateful to God for choosing us to be her parents. I look at her picture daily, and fall even more in love with her, every time. She was everything we dreamed of–kind, gentle, and giving. And, so brave! She was a fierce fighter, up until the very end. How lucky we are, to have been parents to such a special little girl!

My God! I recommend to Thee the souls of my relations,
my benefactors, my friends and my enemies,
and of those who are in Purgatory on my account.

I recommend to Thee the souls of evangelical labourers,
of Religious and priests,
and especially of those who had charge of my soul.

I recommend to Thee the souls of those
who were most devout to the passion of Our Lord,
to the Blessed Sacrament,
to the Blessed Virgin Mary,
the souls who are most abandoned,
those who suffer most,
and those who are nearest to the entrance into paradise.

For all who have gone to their rest in the hopes of rising again in the new light of Christ. Always in my heart Mom.

May God bless the soul of your mom, and of my dad, who passed away in the state of grace March12. Please also pray for my mom, who is adjusting to her new life without him.
 
I’d like to pray for the soul of Maureen, my mum’s friend’s daughter who passed away on the 3rd December.
