My biological father died in 87’ of what i call shotgun cancer.
It ran rampant thru his body.
Many say he paid thru his illness for his sin in his life.
He converted to anglican… from methodism which i wont judge.
He had a full life.he also had a second family not by birth, but by marriage,
all grown. If he paid for his sin by his pain he is definately with CHRIST and my virgin Mother. Some question his faith of God to his faith of women …Before he died on his death bed he as he always did told me i was the prodical son of which some years later converting to the beautiful faith of the holy roman catholic church understand myself to be.
This is not about me but him.I pray he is cleansing now if not at the feet of our savior.
My family i pray for daily as his memory lingers not in a good way but the pain he caused my mother. She i feel has not forgiven altho married to another for 30 years.
I ask prayers for conversion of my sister whom has a holy name of Priscilla ha…
Her heart is already here but the obedience is not,her husband is a fallen away catholic whom only GOD can reach, the story goes on. recently i listened to Patrick madrid which reallyhit my heart as i am given by God my vocation now of apoligetics.Again im offtrack.
My Father may he rest in peace, suffered died and was buried as it goes.
May he love God the way he did life, may Jesus dwell in every particle of his soul, amen

May God Bless your father, you, and all your family. May your father enjoy “what eyes have not seen, and no ears have heard” which God “has reserved for all those who love him.”

In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

This prayer is dedicated to my maternal grandmother, with whom I lived and who helped to raise me.

Her name was Gioconda Raffaela Filacetta Pascuzzi Laino, and she was born 7/13/1911, and died 5/22/2002.

She taught me so much about how to live and how to love, how to be kind to others even if they have been cruel to you. She lived through the Great Depression, World Wars I and II, Vietnam and Korea, the advent of countless new forms of technology, and however many presidents. She truly lived a beautiful life and was a constant example to others, praying the rosary several times a day in addition to endless prayers to a long list of saints.

Everyone always said “Gioconda is always smiling, always happy, always full of life!” all the way up to her last days. Gratefully, she died quickly in relatively little pain.

I will remember her in my prayers always.

Our faithfully departed loved ones would be happy if we remember them. sometimes, if i get too busy of my work, i forgot to offer prayers for them. and i guess they are watching us. they let me remember them in a dream. so the following day, i offer a mass for the faithful departed. Now, i really make it a point to offer a mass for the souls on mondays, specially for those forgotten ones, those aborted children, those lost souls… May they all rest in peace. AMEN.

Your grandmother sounds like a beautiful soul. What a blessing that you had such a close relationship with her. May the Lord bless both of you.

Patricia, my dearly beloved mom who passed on her 76th birthday March 21, 2010.

Dear Mom, you brought me into this world and gave me your all, and so many years later through your constant prayers you brought me back to the Church. I pray for you every day and I thank God for you. God grant that I may see you face to face in the light of the world to come.

For all the souls of the faithful departed, may the Lord have mercy on them and forgive them of their sins. God grant them eternal rest.:harp:
May God give you consolation in the loss of your mother, and may her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.

May her life inspire all of us to walk more closely in the footsteps of Christ. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.:gopray2:

I was very close to my grandmother and I can say I will always miss our way of saying good-bye: “A bushle on a pick, a hug around the neck, and all my heart knows how”. I ask God to make sure she does not ruin my clothes, because tradition has stated that if you are near me or any of her grandchildren and you get something on your clothes, it my grandmother saying: “Hello” or “I like you”. Personally I think she is laughing at that all the time.

Everyday that I have time I go and visit her and my grandfather’s grave, where I pray the rosary and divine mercy chaplet for their souls.

What a beautiful soul your grandmother had here on earth and still does have…and you are so fortunate to have had her in your life and I can see why you are so thankful. It makes me know how important our time here on earth can be and how it can influence the lives of others. God bless her and your whole family.

This is in memory of my medical school classmate, Jason A., an anesthesiology resident…

Died in his sleep just this Sept.12th of a probable heart attack or complicated acute pancreatitis. One of his sister is also a high school batchmate of mine. He was an only son.

We had our share of petty arguments as he was fond of teasing me years ago, but I always knew he was one of the good guys.

I do remember that he had a scapular of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. He was found dead on the 12th (feast of the Holy Name of Mary) which is what is written on his death certificate as he was pronounced dead that day, but we all think he died the day before (a Saturday!) because he spent that whole day “sleeping”.

“Eternal rest, grant unto him, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.”

AMEN! May GOD assist us in ending the worst massacre in history, and help everyone to realize the GOOD in promoting life, and the EVIL in ending it. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!:angel1::knight1::knight2::heaven:
