Loving God,

I lift up intentions for my friend Jim C who died last week. He was a young man, in his forties, and leaves a wife and children, along with parents and brothers.

Please bless and have mercy on dear Jim, comfort him now that his great suffering has come to an end on earth, and grant his friends and family members great courage, strength, and consolation as they endure the loss of Jim from this life.

Thank you O Lord.

Amen.

There is one less child at play today.

The sounds echo from the playground, the joyful squeals and the thumping of feet running, but she will not join in the fun.

Who knows why or what took her away today, God alone it seems.

An empty desk awaits for no one to return, today she will enjoy the knowledge of eternity.

Those left behind, the pain and grief, she will ask God’s mercy and peace for them.

The young ones that go before us are the hardest to bear, to the Lord they must be especially dear.

There is one less child at play today.

I also want to pray for all the souls in Purgatory that may have the perpetual light shine upon them.
My mother and father passed away in 1989 and 1982. What wonderful parents they are! I owe so much to them as they gave me the strong foundation in the Catholic faith. I am truly blessed to have these two individuals as my parents, Jacob & Martina Bieker. I love you mom and dad!
 
I pray for my baby boy who died at birth from Potters syndrome. Love you baby and pray you are happy with Jesus!

I lost a baby through miscarriage. Since becoming Catholic I have realized that even at 6 weeks she was a human baby. (I have always felt in my heart she was a girl) I have 2 boys now but regretfully I don’t think I have ever prayed for my lost little one. God and baby please forgive me.God, please bless this baby with your love. I never got to know her as her mother. I pray she is loved and that light perpetual shines upon her, please minister to us both. Ifeel so bad that it has been 25 years and I have neglected topray for her. God forgive me.

Please pray for the soul of my mother, Linda, departed in 2007, whose life on Earth did not grant much peace; may she find it in your company, Lord. My Great Aunt Lorraine, departed 2010, whose Catholic example has helped to bring me to the true Church. And the soul of my miscarried baby, departed 2009 after six too short weeks; I wish I could have known you more.

Today is the 45th anniversary of the day that my grandmother left this earth. She was my childhood confidante and pal. Even after all these years, I miss her, but I know she is in heaven with her husband, her daughter and son-in-law (my parents) and all of those she loved. Grandma - thank you for all that you gave to me. I still miss you and love you, but I know that you are safely with God.
 
A prayer for Pierre, whose death still is clouded with controversy.

Eternal rest upon Pierre’s soul, Lord, and perpetual light shine upon him. Please be merciful with him and forgive him any sins not confessed when he died so suddenly and tragically. May his soul and the souls of all of the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Please pray for my grandfather who passed away last year. He was not Catholic, but I go on hoping he is in God’s hands nonetheless. 🙂

I’ll try to remember to write down some intentions from this forum.
