Christianity everywhere in the developed world is a minority religion seeking to keep the Gospel alive in a culture flirting with Gaia worship ( climate change nonsense) the idolisation of man ( humanism) radical atheism ( Dawkins) and Satanism ( witness he rash of tattooing among the young) There are no catholic cities.

And we also lost Ireland:coffeeread:

During a retreat talk in 1973, in the diocese of Gary, Indiana, Archbishop Sheen said:
“Christendom is dead.”. That fella certainly had accurate radar…because of God`s
Grace.

Wait a second tattooing is a sign of Satanism!? An worring about climate change makes one a worshipper of Gaia!?

I am scared to ask what makes one a Druid in your eyes…

I heard about this today and I was truly and totally dismayed. I simply cannot believe how fast our world is going to pot. The world is going to Hell in a hand basket and the Lord will punish us. He will chastise us. He does this out of mercy though. He wants to see us return to Him but yet we have not turned back towards Him and I don’t see that happening any time soon either. I believe the world is too far gone now. Lord, come quickly. :crossrc:

The Mexican government is hardly Catholic. The 1917 Mexican Constitution directly attacked the Church, confiscated Church property, secularized national schools, made it illegal for a cleric to comment on political affairs.
The Mexican government has been a hodgepodge of communists, socialists, and right wing atheists for a long time now.
To say that this is the fall of a “Roman Catholic city” would be highly inaccurate. Mexican government officials have been hostile to the Church and its teachings for about a century now.

Correct! This stuff is not new; it always existed; it seems scandalous now because we’ve forgotten history.

For right now, any way, it seems as it is fallen, but our Blessed Mother said, very clearly, “At the end, my Immaculate Heart will prevail.” These are the words of the Mother of God -I most believe them- All mankind came from God and will return to God, only if we co-operate with Christ in His plan of redemption.

Besides, because the Mexican nation, to which, the Mother of God appeared at times of immorality, in the 16th century, the enemy must attack. At this time of Advent, we need to pray without ceasing for the fallen brothers and sisters, who are prey of the enemy, but most importantly, be a good example to the world as good Christians. Nothing is impossible with God.

quite honestly i feel that because of modern/postmodern leftism and socialism in the next 15-20 years (possibly sooner) elections in Western countries will be won by socially conservative candidates who are most likely going to be Christian (and in some countries very devout Catholics)

unorthodox Catholic politicians and non-Catholic leaders who defy their religious authority will be a political minority because more and more voters will realize the world is really messed up because of these radical leftist policies (gay “marriage” being one of them)

lets hope it happens before the Jihad starts. That way, wed have only one enemy to face,
rather than a heap of `em.

Another Roman Catholic city falls to liberalism.

Great job clerics!. Post Vatican 2 all the way!!.
How many Missionaries did the Post Vatican 2 church put down there.
My understanding is that Mexico City has been secular since the early 1920s. The same is true of most major cities in Latin America. Uruguay has been pagan since the early 1900s as well.
