I read somewhere, I think it was Saint Faustina, that God sees us through Christ’s wounds. Literally, through his wounds. When you think of it that way it’s kinda hard to think of God “independently”. I mean of course I believe in the Trinity but I also think about the Father, Son and Holy Spirit separately.
