I have to agree with many of you-I don’t think women should be priests. If GOD had intended women to be priests I think a woman would have been an apostle.
“i’m the lizard queen!” (lisa simpson)I’m disapointed with their lack of ambition. Instead of settling for merely being priests, they should have made themselves bishops, United States Senators, members of the boards of all the Fortune 500 companies, and awarded themselves the Nobel Peace Prize. If you’re going to pretend, you might as well pretend big.
cutest thing i’ve heard. We did this too! One of the older boys in our neighborhood wanted to become a priest when he grew up, so he and his brothers would put on robes (and to my young eyes at the time, the robes and “vestments” they used looked pretty good!), and set up an “altar” and would practice the words of the consecration. Then we would all line up for “communion” which was Necco wafers. It was always a coup if you got the white Necco wafer!
Back to topic though - I agree with you. These women are no more consecrating the host than my neighbor was in his basement so many years ago.
What do you call Mary Magdalene?I have to agree with many of you-I don’t think women should be priests. If GOD had intended women to be priests I think a woman would have been an apostle.
That is an excellent point!!! How many of these women were teaching our children or newcomers to our parishes… we should thank God that they won’t have the opportunity to corrupt the teachings anymore.the only positive note in this whole disgusting story is that having removed themselves from the Catholic Church they won’t be throwing their weight around as DREs, RCIA directors or liturgists in a Catholic parish.
No they’re ordained protesters…so they’re now officially protestant.kmov.com/topstories/stories/kmov_locanews_071111_womenpriest.1ffe1ffd4.html
I didn’t know whether to laugh or throw up, these people really take this seriously. They claim these women were** ordained Catholic priests**.
Because the Catholic Priesthood is different from all other groups. Why can’t women be ordained priestesses in the Catholic world?![]()
A better question is Why can’t we women love who God created us to be?Why can’t women be ordained priestesses in the Catholic world?![]()
I don’t get it. They must know it’s not valid or possible. Talk about defiance.kmov.com/topstories/stories/kmov_locanews_071111_womenpriest.1ffe1ffd4.html

A) Not possible.
B) It was done in a Jewish temple.
C) Condemned by the Catholic Church
D) Who ‘ordained’ them?
What fires me up is the fact that they are actually calling themselves Catholic! I wouldn’t mind so much if they were claiming to be a new protestant religion or something, but to call themselves Catholic just really gets me going.![]()
AMEN!!!A better question is Why can’t we women love who God created us to be?

Naturally - We all know you need a full grown oversized alpaca for it to be valid. Trying to slip a detail past us, huh?A ceremony can take place all it wants, but it doesn’t make it valid.
Cheers
- They are NOT valid priests
- The Catholic church does NOT endorse it
- It would be no different than If i was ‘Ordained’ Bishop by a friend, a cat and a small alpaca, and said my ordination was valid
It is sad, personally I wouldn’t get out of my bed on a Sunday morning to attend their fiasco. It is really quite sad and disturbing that there is a website devoted to Catholic Women Priests (RCWP).
They try and convince the reader that it is all ok…
Sad, very sad…![]()
1 Tim 2:12-15. I permit no woman to teach or have authority over men; she is to keep silent. For Adam was formed first, then EveWhy can’t women be ordained priestesses in the Catholic world?![]()
I don’t know if you meant that as a joke, but I found it humorously true! Thank you.No they’re ordained protesters…so they’re now officially protestant.
