It is my understanding that upon receiving Jesus in the Eucharist, our venial sin are forgiven by Jesus. And that when having committed a mortal sin, only through the Sacrament of Reconciliation are you able to be absolved.
I usually go to confession when committing both mortal and venial sins and only recently have I seeked forgiveness for my venial sins through The Eucharist.
My dilemma is that I still feel guilt from my venial sins even after receiving Christ, however, when I go to confession, I feel forgiven.
Are my venial sin truly forgiven after receiving Jesus within The Eucharist?
