Concur…and glad to hear that the vast majority of the French did and are still standing up for their conscience, their Faith (mostly Catholic if I understand correctly) and their rights as citizens.
I wonder if the radical Gay community (not to include everyone with SSA) along with the power brokers in their society (as is the case in all Western Societies today)…the government politicians and bureaucrats, media persons (broadcast and print…especially the pundits and editorial czars) and the entertainment industries…are all calling them bigots…homophobes…or worse? I have not read or seen much on what their internal society power brokers are saying about these continuing anti homosexual marriage protesters.
I believe that the the worse is yet to come here in USA…and the “nitty gritty” fallout and after effects on those who don’t support homosexual marriage…or even civil union status.
I saw an article written (can’t recall the author’s name…out of Texas)…that was praising the true soul of Americans…by what he saw and learned of what is being done by Americans for their fellow Americans who were devastated by the Oklahoma tornadoes. I think he was right on target…no matter what divides us and no matter how cheap politicians exploit our differences for their political gain…or the ideologue power brokers exploit these divisive issues for “victory notch” success…they haven’t (yet) destroyed that basic truth…Americans really do care about what happens to their fellow Americans…and the will make great sacrifices and bear heavy burdens for them.
May God continue to bless the United States of America…and all the peoples living in these very blessed lands…especially during these turbulent times.
