The future of Europe is Islam

Why aren’t we focused on converting Muslims? Because According to statistics in Europe’s future is becoming Islamic in population in the next century?
 
Because we are tying to focus on Western Europe and the Americas first
 
I don’t know about the Catholic Church overall, but most people on Catholic Answers forums are in America, where it’s not a problem. We have Muslim communities, but their culture is not taking over Christian culture. The big problems in America are lapsed Catholics and atheism, so you will see more discussions of that sort on these forums.
 
Just want to learn more about Islam so we can see it from their perspective.
 
My first question is who is “we”. The other Churches do things differently than we do as Catholics.

There are a lot of Muslims in Europe who convert to other religions.

Really, all that needs to be done is for the natives to have more kids and larger families.

The second question is which perspective are you seeking?
 
Seems like more people are losing faith so I won’t be surprised if the Muslim population loses its fervor. I do feel like relativism would be stronger than Islam anyway. I can’t imagine people respecting Muslims’ right to disagree with gay marriage etc for long?

Christians should be working on evangelizing people in general.
 
It seems to me that the emigration policy just assumed the integration of Muslims into European society.
There is an assumption that the grandfathers went to the mosque and grandchildren from this mosque make shops for the sale of rugs/carpets.
 
It’s just scary to think that all of Europe could turn Muslim.
 
True but the bigger picture is Europe being overrun by Muslims which will be our problem or our kids problem in the future.

Populations don’t work that way.
As generations pass, the muslim communities become more diluted and properly integrated into standard society, even if their numbers do grow substantially, there’s a long long way to go for them to become a majority.
The grand tendency, ultimately, is for everyone to become secular.
Secularization pressures apply to all religions, but a bit more to the more oppressive ones.
 
It’s hard to predict what any new generation will do. I really get the impression that those who came of age pre 1960s weren’t expecting so many of their children to stop practicing. Large numbers of children born into a religion doesn’t necessarily equal large numbers of practising adults.
 
Since we dropped some of the most interesting aspects of the Catholic religion that truly tied us to our ancestors and historical past in the 1960s (the same time beautiful European style buildings were ripped down and replaced with temporary brutalist monstrosities that have since been ripped down) it’s not surprising the kids of that generation didn’t stick by the faith with the same veracity as previous generations. Everyone can dispute this all they want but the results speak for themselves.

As someone who lives in UK there are a large Number of Muslims in uk but still not taking it overm secularism and athiesm are the biggest danger.
 
Sadly true. They are growing fast and more and more are coming plus their birthrate is much higher. And no they are not integrating. They are becoming more and more radical while our politicians do absolutely nothing because they are afraid to talk about it. Churches are closing all over while mosqes are opening. Young people are converting to islam aswell. You May not have problems with islam Now but you Will someday. - a Danish native
 
True, but this religion is formed out of Fear. A lot of our tribal traditions continues because of the Fear aspect of it. It only becomes just a tradition when the fear aspect of it is gone, that’s usually when we’re older. And hopefully they will be older smarter westerners:+1:t6:🤔
