This is one of the more tiresome liberal arguments, yes the bible has some very backwards teachings… so what? The difference is that Christians don’t actually follow those teachings but Muslims do. But please show me the Christian equivalent of Saudi Arabia or ISIS. 😂
 
What is the point of building 70,000 nuclear warheads and then disassembling more than 60,000 of them? If the question was how to reduce the US military budget., then it looks like a big waste of money for the US to first build 70,000 nuclear warheads, then disassemble more than 60,000 of them.

But people were burned alive at the stake which is quite painful. And others were put on the rack and stretched out and then hung by their wrists to the ceiling ?
 
So to make any kind of comparison between Christians and Muslims, you have to bring up events that occurred over 250 years ago? I rest my case. Maybe if it was 1600 your argument might hold more sway.
 
Migration is a social equalizer. Where there is a surplus of wealth at a degree that material goods of every kind, including precious food, are thrown into the trash on a daily basis, you will have the poor coming in to take it.
 
Migration is a social disaster. There are few times in history where mass migration has not caused either social breakdown, upheaval, or the outright replacement of the original population.
 
… or assimilation and a coexistence of different kind of people under the flag of one nation. The decadent European population will be refreshed by the influx of new lives and energies.

Largely a fantasy. Populations with signifigant differences rarely ‘coexist’ but are either assimilated into the dominant culture, or dominate the existing culture and eventually replace it.

The decadent Europeans will either fight for their homelands or they will be replaced by Muslims.
 
I suspect many in Hungary would choose a different word than ‘enrich’ to describe the Ottoman occupation.

america has never been a christian nation. it was a nation formed by christians, but they recognized the right to freedom of religion. the treaty of tripoli was very clear.

In the end, the U.S. and Russia may become third rate world powers due to total economic collapse. The real final battle may be between nuclearized Muslim Europe and expansionist China. nonsense, what christian wants the old testament laws to be enforced? how many muslims want sharia law embraced by the west? it isn’t the same thing

you miss the point. the muslims won’t overthrow the governments. they will eventually be the majority and vote in sharia law and the minority christians won’t be able to do anything about it. they marry young, have several wives, and will have many kids.

i was against the usa involvement in iraq, but i wouldn’t classify pre-war iraq as a law and order government under saddam.

It was a military conquest. But in the long run, the independent governor of Hungarian Transylvania found a useful ally in the Ottoman emperor against the expansive Habsburg Empire. Muslim people somehow not that much different from any other group of people. Europe was a primary target of migration of Asian nomadian “pagans” for some 1500 years after Christ.
 
You are gonna use a single line in a broken treaty as evidence?

Check out the text of the Northwest Ordinance then because it states that public schools were being set up to spread religion.

They are not different. And as such one should expect thr same results of mass migration from them as one expects in any unchecked mass migration, the eventual destruction of the original culture.

And you’ll find that this was rarely seen as a good or an ‘enrichment’ by the original populace.
