So, when will Acts of the Apostles be shown on the big screen? I really hope it is soon. šŸ™‚

The book of revelations is the original forms of the ten commandments. It was taken from the Egyptians from where the roman catholic church stole the following…I have not stolen became thou shall not steal, I have not killed became thou shall not kill and so on. You can research it yourself at a local library and ask for a translated form of the book of revelations.

Yes, because the Book of Revelation came AFTER the Ten Commandments.

Keep being (unintentionally) funny. I could use a good laugh. šŸ‘

You are correct I can not convice that many christians because they refute all of the imposed arguments and will not look at the evidence I am presenting…any christian can go to an oracle and ask the story of krishna and you will see that krishna and jesus are both the same.

Because oracles are historic scholars, huh? 😃

If it were common sense, it shouldn’t be hard to do, right?

This is where Mozier’s Law comes into play:

*For every convincing argument against God, Jesus, The Bible, or Christianity, there is an equally convincing argument in favor of God, Jesus, The Bible, or Christianity. *

In other words, it is pointless to argue it. You either believe it or you do not. To try and convince someone of your ā€œirrefutable evidenceā€ is an effort in futility, for there will always be ā€œevidenceā€ to refute it. So don’t bother.

Thanks, no mater what I say he just smiles and says watch the video.
If he’s a ā€œteenagerā€ā€¦its understandable…to some extent. On the other hand, he may be trying to get under your skin. Don’t over-react. Thats the worst thing you can do.

Instead…if he is computer literate, challenge him to go to some of these links and read real history…

In this one read down to ā€œAbgar and the First Baptismā€, and then what follows:
hayastan.com/armenia/history/armenia/index02.php

The following also have salient comments from persons who lived in those days to include Flavius Josephus, Pontius Pilate, Julian the Apostate and others…

why-jesus.com/history.htm

christianity.about.com/od/denominations/a/catholichistory.htm
(interesting article)

newadvent.org/cathen/08375a.htm

users.binary.net/polycarp/jesus.html

There are many other sources of proof that Christ is real, and thus God is real. Googling ā€œJesus Christ Roman Historyā€ will get you much information.

So far…all I can find about Brian Fleming…is that he is an ā€œEX-Christian Evangelicalā€ā€¦no further comment necessary there.

But this article written seems to be somewhat unbiased, yet clearly makes a case against Flemming…and its far less than flattering and does much to disprove Flemmings allegations.

Good luck!! (Sometimes…brass knuckles help…JUST KIDDING!!)

A word to the wise: If you got that statement from outdated and refuted works such as The World’s Sixteen Crucified Saviors (which was written in 1885 by Kersey Graves; it was then since refuted by Theists and Atheists alike), I think it’s time you get a more new source.

For the record, comparing Krishna to Jesus is like comparing a sheep to an elephant.

You’re not talking about the Book of Revelation here. You meant the Book of the Dead, right?

In chapter 125 of the Book of the Dead, the dead makes a testimony in front of the gods:
Homage to you, Great God, the Lord of the double Ma’at (Truth)!
I have come to you, my Lord,
I have brought myself here to behold your beauties.
I know you, and I know your name,
And I know the names of the two and forty gods,
Who live with you in the Hall of the Two Truths,
Who imprison the sinners, and feed upon their blood,
On the day when the lives of men are judged in the presence of Osiris.
In truth, you are ā€œThe Twin Sisters with Two Eyes,ā€ and ā€œThe Daughters of the Two Truths.ā€
In truth, I now come to you, and I have brought Maat to you,
And I have destroyed wickedness for you.
I have committed no evil upon men.
I have not oppressed the members of my family.
I have not wrought evil in the place of right and truth.
I have had no knowledge of useless men.
I have brought about no evil.
I did not rise in the morning and expect more than was due to me.
I have not brought my name forward to be praised.
I have not oppressed servants.
I have not scorned any god.
I have not defrauded the poor of their property.
I have not done what the gods abominate.
I have not cause harm to be done to a servant by his master.
I have not caused pain.
I have caused no man to hunger.
I have made no one weep.
I have not killed.
I have not given the order to kill.
I have not inflicted pain on anyone.
I have not stolen the drink left for the gods in the temples.
I have not stolen the cakes left for the gods in the temples.
I have not stolen the cakes left for the dead in the temples.
I have not fornicated.
I have not polluted myself.
I have not diminished the bushel when I’ve sold it.
I have not added to or stolen land.
I have not encroached on the land of others.
I have not added weights to the scales to cheat buyers.
I have not misread the scales to cheat buyers.
I have not stolen milk from the mouths of children.
I have not driven cattle from their pastures.
I have not captured the birds of the preserves of the gods.
I have not caught fish with bait made of like fish.
I have not held back the water when it should flow.
I have not diverted the running water in a canal.
I have not put out a fire when it should burn.
I have not violated the times when meat should be offered to the gods.
I have not driven off the cattle from the property of the gods.
I have not stopped a god in his procession through the temple,
I am pure.
I am pure.
I am pure.
I am pure.
My purity is the purity the great Bennu (heron) in Heracleopolis.
Behold, I am the nose of the God of Breath, who gives life to the people,
On the day of completing the Eye of Ra in Heliopolis,
On the last day of the second month of winter,
In the presence of the pharaoh of this land.
I have seen the the Eye of Horus when it was full in Heliopolis!
Therefore, let no evil befall me in this land,
In this Hall of the Two Truths,
Because I know the names of all the gods within it,
And all the followers of the great God.
Sure there are similarities between the 10 Commandments, but one is a moral code, and the other is merely a confession of sorts.

Have you even read a Bible? The Book of the Dead and the Book of Revelation are quite separate animals; one relates a vision that the author (identifying himself as John) received while on exile in Patmos, while the other is a funerary text intended to help the dead’s soul in the Egyptian afterlife.

To start the book of revelations was not written after the 10 commandments it was written around 400 BC. Its fun schooling kool aid drinkers like you…also you are right oracles are not teaching centers but they will educate you on hinduism and how krishna was the founder and how she and Jesus are completely similar…also to a previous statement about global enslavement. Its is a good chance that this will happen in the near future thanks to the bilderberg group.

Actually i attended a high school that was named after a creek. And yes i understand that part, it is not concidered worshiping but why at the end of every eucharist is that saint thanked. He has not done anything for anyone so why thank him and mention him in prayers?
Those saints are named as a form of commemoration; in the early days being a Christian could easily send you to your death. These men and women who died for being Christians were commemorated in a list of sorts during every celebration of the Eucharist, and the Priest prays that at the end, we may share in the fellowship of these Apostles and Martyrs who died for their faith.

Patrick,
I have read the bible and have found many miss translations. The most accurate version is the king james bible.

Again, it is NOT the Book of Revelation but the Book of the Dead, or to use the Egyptian term, The Book of Coming forth by Day’.

The Book originally did not have a standard form as it is mostly a Book containing incantations, instructions for the dead person, and hymns to the Egyptian gods. Every ā€˜owner’ could commission a personalized version of the book, thus leading to the many variants.

The Book of the Dead was finally standardized during the New Kingdom (1570–1070 BC) and the Third Intermediate Period (1070 BC-664 BC).

By contrast, the Exodus is usually believe to have happened somewhere either around 1580 BC-1215 BC or the first or second third of the 13th century BC.

Even if you do not believe in the historicity of the Exodus and believe that the book achieved its final form around 450 BC, one cannot deny that Israelite culture is already then a different culture separated from Egypt, making plagiarism unlikely.

Krishna is not a ā€˜she’, but a ā€˜he’ (at least, I assume that the avatars of Vishnu are all males). šŸ˜‰

And no, I don’t happen to like Kool-Aid by the way; I prefer natural fruit juice (For the record: the beverage that Jim Jones and the People’s Temple drank is actually the more obscure Flavor Aid, not Kool-Aid. Kraft Foods must be sore disappointed by now :p).

**Gee, that dating is odd… seems you have a rather strange source… this site disagrees with you and goes into detail earlychristianwritings.com/revelation.html It puts the dates at 90-95 CE This one disagrees with you as well… cresourcei.org/therevelation.html as does this one…usccb.org/nab/bible/revelation/intro.htm **

Hmmm, an ad hominem attack…mixed in with comments… hmm, thats a tricky device!! Lends much ā€œcredibilityā€ā€¦not.

I’m sorry…but I have to ask… Do you wear a ā€œtinfoil hatā€? 😃

Patrick,
You seem to understand the naming of the catholic churches better than I do. But thousands of people died because of the fact that they were christians but no one named a church after them so how was did the selection process worked?

Erm, why would you choose a translation of the Bible published in 1611? Biblical Scholarship had advanced since then.

Now, I don’t denigrate the King James Bible here; sure it is a hallmark in English Literature, but the guys who translated it then had to work with the (mostly) few and late manuscripts they have; by contrast we have already discovered more early and important manuscripts to work on (take for example Codex Vaticanus, Codex Sinaiticus, the Dead Sea Scrolls, Papyrus Bodmer XIV-XV [P75], Papyrus Bodmer II [P66] etc.).

THANK YOU!!!..for the good laugh that is!!!

I’m really beginning to think the ā€œtin-foil hatā€ question was appropo!

I’m guessing you have some ā€œotherwordlyauthorityā€ to make such a declaration…even though there are many sources that document errors in the KJV???

Patrick,

Originally churches were named after people who were either killed or buried in the location that the church was built (for example, St. Peter’s Basilica is named such because the Peter the Apostle was buried in a public cemetery that used to stand on Vatican Hill, St. Paul outside the Walls was named such since Paul’s grave is located in the area, etc.).

This practice had its roots in celebrating the Eucharist in the Catacombs (Building churches publicly was still rather dangerous then, so Christians met in any secret location they could, such as an underground cemetery, which is what catacombs are) over the grave of a martyr.

This custom eventually transformed by having a relic (a portion of mortal remains) of two saints (one of which had to be a martyr, in keeping with the above custom) sealed inside an Altar during its consecration.

Eventually the choice of a particular patron of a Church has depended upon many circumstances. These, as a rule, have been one or other of the following:

(1) The possession of the body or some important relic of the saint;
(2) his announcement of the Gospel to the nation;
(3) his labours or death in the locality;
(4) his adoption as the national patron;
(5) the special devotion of the founder of the church;
(6) the spirit of ecclesiastical devotion at a given time.

After the reforms of Vatican II, portable wooden Altars, especially in non-Church venues (such as schools) became abundant (formerly, it is required that Altars, at least those ā€˜fixed’ ones, be made of stone), in which case, these Altars (since they could not contain any relics of Saints) could only be blessed, not consecrated. Formerly, portable Altar stones (squarish stone slabs consecrated in the usual manner, with the relics contained inside a hollow in the slab) were used.

Actually the purpose of a tin foil hat in your terms would be to deflect mind reading rays while in reality gamma rays that would be used in such device could easily penetrate 3 feet of reinforced concrete not to mention a 5 MM piece of tin…so you are telling me that you rather believe a piece of writting that was made probably in a cave and translated hundreds of times…there are many mistakes for example the fact that in the catholic bible it states that jesus will be with us until the end of time but really instead of time it means aeon which is age and it makes sense because the bible goes through 3 ages while predicting 4th which is the age of piscies.
