Thanks for posting this Edward Henry.

I don’t think it is available – not yet anways that is in Canada. However, I noticed that it is out in theatres in the Eastern part of Canada.

This film looks so important and spiritual.

God bless,

Hi goforgoal,
Without appearing to support any specific store, because I really do not support any, Walmart has it out in stores and for online ordering for $ 9.96 since Nov 27th. I do not know if you have that store in Canada, but I know we bought four copies there on the 27th. Maybe this link can help 🙂
It is now also available on Ebay

Thank you and God bless you for your help Edward Henry.

Since it is an American Wal-Mart link I’m still unable to order this movie but thanks for providing the link and the information.

And yes, we do have a Wal-Mart in Canada.

I have sent an email followed by a YouTube Trailer to the movie “The Greatest Miracle” to one of the Catholic retail outlets that I frequent.

Hopefully, their company will be “inspired” to order a shipment of these Movies.

God bless,

I pray that you can get a copy soon. I have not doubt that your Guardian Angel is already working on it. :angel1: But you might be being used as an instrument of Our Lord to bring awareness of the film to others in Canada.
God bless 👍

Our parish had a showing of that movie in the parish hall last nite. My wife and daughters went.

Our pastor is planning on having regular showings during Advent 👍

Wow Brendan,
Those are great news! It is the same thing that I witnessed this summer during my visit to Latin America! Many parishes were showing it to adults and to First Communion classes. 👍 I think every pastor should receive a copy! It is a whole catechesis on the Holy Mass in 70 minutes!
Brendan, when you view the film yourself, would you mind sharing your review with others… Thank you! 👍

goforgoal and gh4,
Thank you for your info.
Also, today **Ignatius Press **just announced its release:
**From the Producer of For Greater Glory, this is a beautiful, animated story about the power and impact of the grace of God, and of unseen spiritual influences and events, in our lives, especially in Church during our participation in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. It focuses on three characters and their guardian angels, and how we all have the freedom to choose to do good or evil, to pray, and the consequences from our choices. It shows the great spiritual power of the sacrament of Confession, and beautifully reveals the meaning and importance of each aspect of the Mass, our greatest prayer and miracle, through which we share in such close “communion” with almighty God by receiving Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.

This DVD contains the following language options: English with dubbed Spanish
Sample images from the film: **

The first I heard of this film was from one of Fr. Broom’s sermons. I came across it today in four part videos on youtube. I didn’t think I’d like an animated film, but this one blew me away. Invest some time to view it and have your tissues ready. If it don’t touch your heart, nothing will. Thank you, Guardian Angel for leading me here. Alleluia.

I watched the trailers. Not impressed. Maybe it would appeal to young children.

I suppose this film may not appeal to fuddy-duddies. A friend who just saw it said she will be recommending it to the Youth Minister to show their Jr. High kids. I think they could really benefit from it, since that is when peer pressure and corruption sets in.
Remember that Jesus of Nazareth lives in you while you give Him the chance, do it and begin to feel the peace and love of the Lord.

When a person submits a review on a film, he or she watches it first. Please give yourself that opportunity, you might change your mind.

This movie is already being sold by amazon.com. You can order it and have it shipped to you at home if you have a credit card.
And actually this movie is in my cart at amazon.com and I have been ready to order it myself in the next couple of days.
For those in other countries, amazon.com sends orders to most countries.
I also have seen it sold by Ignatius press, at www.ignatius.com

Most Reverend David L. Ricken, Bishop of the Diocese of Green Bay, said of this film: “The Greatest Miracle draws the viewer into the Mass by artistically portraying what we as Catholics believe to be taking place, but what we as human beings are incapable of perceiving with our earthy senses. It beautifully depicts the moment of the Consecration as a continuation of Christ’s sacrifice on Calvary, and it celebrates the way in which we “…unite ourselves with the heavenly liturgy and anticipate eternal life, when God will be all in all.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1326)

Edward Henry- Thank you and God bless you for mentioning this lovely film. I had a chance to watch it and was truly moved by this film.

The only complaint I have about the film is when the man on the bus uses his cell phone mind you I’ve seen Movies where people use their cell phones and don’t wear seat belts

But, that isn’t the message is it? The real message and the real focus is the graces of Holy Mass and how truly important and meaningful Mass truly and really is.

As for liking and disliking the film it depends on the individual person I have a friend who cannot get into, “The Passion of the Christ” So it depends (I suppose) on the individual person

God bless,

goforgoal

Hi goforgoal,
Sorry for the delay in responding. I am glad that you finally had the opportunity to watch it. I do not believe that the film aims to portray the bus driver’s use of the cellphone as examplary, instead, he almost causes an accident by doing it, thus I believe that the message is great. But like you say, everyone has his/her own preferences when it comes to films.

May God continue to bless you.
In the Arms of Our Lady,
Edward Henry.
