The Iran conflict

On the other side, the Papacy since the days of JP2 has embraced left-wing foreign policy, the idea that all conflicts can be solved by "dialogue" and "multilateral cooperation". Yet tyranny cannot be abolished or even tamed by talking.

I despise Trump for his blasphemous posts, his attitude to women, his ruthless business competition. But I agree with what he says on Iran, even if I'm sceptical that he will finish the regime. The current military action will be something like 1991 in Iraq.
 
I doubt she would have been able to navigate the deep water of this aggressive negotiation.
In all fairness, the Iran invasion probably never would have happened for there to be negotiations in the first place. Hard to say how Israel would have handled the situation on its own. One does need to consider that Iran has been threatening to annihilate Israel for a long time, whether they ever would have done it, is another question entirely.
