Jeremiah 23:7-8
“So then, the days are coming,” declares the LORD, "when people will no longer say, ‘As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,’ but they will say, ‘As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the descendants of Israel up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.’ Then they will live in their own land."

Simon answered, "We have never taken land away from other nations or confiscated anything that belonged to other people. On the contrary, we have simply taken back property that we inherited from our ancestors, land that had been unjustly taken away from us by our enemies at one time or another. 34 We are now only making use of this opportunity to recover our ancestral heritage.

Maccabees 1 15:33-34

True then, true now, true always:thumbsup:

Amen!

How Christians can overlook the word “everlasting” in Gods promises and covenants and say its not so, befuddles me.

Yes, Yes.👍 May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob bless and keep you, Chosen People

I think we should go back to the basic here. God chose the Israelites for one purpose…let the world know the Great ‘I AM’ exist. How did He do that? Sometimes the world needs to hold unto something to believed, and our God knows already that man has the capacity to be short minded. So he devised a way to make Himself known—by His Words and Promises being fulfilled.

Is this Great “I Am” faithful with His words and promises? You bet! The most important proof is the Coming of Jesus to the world to redeem mankind. The OT has a lot of prophesies about the Lord Jesus Christ and the NT proved them all right. That’s 2000 years ago.

As stated before, people need some jolting to remind that God exists. He timed it very well. The 4000 year old standing Covenant with Abraham Isaac and Jacob was fulfilled through the creation of the state of Israel. That’s 4000 years of waiting for the Israelites. Our generation became living witnesses of how unwavering, promise keeping this God is?

Would you serve a god who is inconsistent and never fulfill any promise at all?

I say the God of Israel is the Almighty Living God, Great and filled with Glory, for he made this promise come true:
43 So the LORD gave Israel all the land he had sworn to give their forefathers, and they took possession of it and settled there. 44 The LORD gave them rest on every side, just as he had sworn to their forefathers. Not one of their enemies withstood them; the LORD handed all their enemies over to them. 45 Not one of all the LORD’s good promises to the house of Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.
Joshua 21:43-45
