Those peanut butter Hershey kiss thingies are my all-time favorite cookie. My mom used to make them for me. I think they were called Peanut Blossoms back then.

Some day I’ll make another batch but right now they would make me miss Mom too much.
 
Yes, I vaguely remembered they were supposed to be a Bake-Off winning recipe. Mom originally had the recipe on a card she got from somebody else, I think maybe her mom? Then later I remember it was on the bags of Hershey kisses.
Would like to know why “Lauren” felt a need to “adapt” the Peanut Blossom recipe. I will give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she has a copyright concern so she changed something, but really, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
 
My vote would be for snickerdoodles. They’re my family’s go-to cookie. You can put chocolate chips in them, but I think that takes away from the cinnamonly goodness
 
It wouldn’t hurt to try.

Feed them to some volunteers who wouldn’t mind eating an experiment.
