Cheeseballs remind me of Christmas Eve, Milt. My mother always made one or two or three then.

Well, I think I’ll have to go to the bakery tomorrow! I don’t bake myself. Last time I tried a simple sugar cookie, it was a disaster. But they tasted good. I tried a cherry pie and set the stove on fire. Fire department came, but I had it out by then. And I even took a cooking course! Needless to say, I did not graduate.
 
They taste yummy too. Mama said she’d never tasted cannoli. I was stunned because I thought she’d tasted everything. Of course, I got her hooked on tiramisu too.😊😊

You kind of sound like you’re on the mend Lily?Must be the warmer weather and yummy foods .
 
As long as it’s warm, I feel better. It’s when it gets colder that I feel worse. I’m not out of the woods yet. Still have coughing fits. But the phlegm is coming out more each day.

They’re saying on the news that the flu epidemic is winding down. (I asked Mama to give me the latest on it since I’m off of news for Lent.) So I’m going to schedule a visit with my surgeon next month. And hopefully, I’ll be able to finally have my throat surgery.
 
I decided to quit my usual oatmeal breakfast today. It’s “too much of a good thing”! Strawberries are healthy, too!

YES!!! I can’t tell you how much I love fondue! Be sure to rub the calquelon with LOTS of garlic before you put the cheese in! And lots of kirschwasser. (That’s how I like mine!) I’m ready to eat! Want me to bring the bread?
