I have a little container of duck fat,meant to be good for roasting things in.Will roast for dinner 🙂
 
Duck fat is good for roasting potatoes.

Had some roast potatoes roasted in duck fat in a French restaurant. Due to it’s high smoke point, the skin was extra crispy and the insides soft and melting.

Delicious.

I think the potatoes were semi cooked before being roasted.

Had a delicious goulash that used lard.

My friend’s wife was German and she cooked a really good goulash.
