Does anyone know where to source an mp3 of the Litany of the Saints that was sung last evening at the Pope’s visit to Seminarians and Young People, St. Joseph’s Seminary (Dunwoodie), NY?

I was blown away by it. I need to hear it again!
 
I too would love to listen to it again (and again). It was mesmerizing.
 
Was it in Latin?

Anyway that one is very strong prayer, that I like very much, I am also looking for some mp3 of it.
 
Try EWTN. They have the audios and videos for all Papal happenings.
 
My choir at church sings this Litany every Easter Vigil…I agree, it’s beautiful!

We can sing it for you for free! …😃
 
The cantor did a great job. I too thought it was great. I dvr’d it, but I don’t have a way of transferring it to mp3.

I would suspect EWTN will have either a dvd or cd version of all of the Pope’s trip and masses. If not both. Soon.

I managed to caputre it pretty easily using nothing but Audacity and I have to say I am impressed with my first ever attempt at audio capturing!

I love this version. So sit back (or kneel) and enjoy!

How did you capture the audio? I’ve always wanted a copy from JP2’s funeral in MP3. It’s on Youtube and I would love to convert a copy to MP3.

Unfortunately I don’t get the same options under the properties tab of the volume controls. I get Sigma Tel audio as my only options for the mixer device.😦
 
Does a litany of saints always begin with
“Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy” ?

Just curious.

Thanks for the link. Did anyone notice that their response to God… is ‘pray for us’? It should have been ‘have mercy on us’.

Yeah I noticed it in the first instance. Ah well the music and singing makes up for the error.
