To be honest, this is actually mild compared to what I’ve seen on another forum. I think I’ve been accused of all the “ism” :rolleyes: I do have a deep love for the Church, thanks for your kind words 🙂 what drives me nuts however is this constant need of some to measure each person Catholicity. These same folks believe they score much higher and use it as a cudgil for all us lesser Catholics.

If you remember, I actually said I can’t blame you for being upset over the backward comment. I’m sorry but the way you were going on about your parish, it did seem like a perfect parish. I haven’t found a perfect parish myself, but I’m glad you have. 🙂 I’d like a little middle ground to be honest.

There are people on this site who lack charity and who are proud of it so they lack humility as well.
And why are all these married women and mothers on the computer so much anyway? Who is taking care of their homes?

I must admit that when I read your post as it was, referencing Karianne’s comment, I too thought it was rather harsh. However, when I went to the original post and read that line in context I could see that it was clearly meant satirically. To take it out of it’s original context for the purpose of unjustly chasting the poster shows either a) ignorance of the use of sarcasm and satire in the original post or b) someone is simply gunning for Karianne and will twist her words against her. Talk about uncharitable!
