I would say the current people in charge of the government would be the answer,

Judging by the executive orders being pumped out I am figuring a lot about to come. Handful of cells are not a human.

Because I am also Progressive. Science is against you also. Pro choice for me.

Really? They aren’t tree cells or dog cells. They are both human and cells. That is a scientific fact.

Science clearly stands opposed to your statement. A soon as a single cell with a unique DNA make-up is created, a new human begins its existence. Every branch of biology and embryology is in agreement with this.

Handful of cells are not a human.
I’ve seen you post this on a lot of other threads and adequate responses supported by evidence have been given, so I suppose there is no changing your mind. However, human beings exist from the moment of conception with distinct DNA from their parents. This is an indisputable fact.

In response to the OP, I strongly dislike Planned Parenthood, but I’ve personally found NARAL to be a more cringe-worthy organization that spews absolute rubbish. At least PP does some things besides abortion.

If there is any belief system that you hold equal or superior to your faith, then your faith may be nominal or nonexistent. Saying “I’m Catholic, but I reject core Catholic beliefs” is like saying “I’m a health nut, but I reject exercise and proper nutrition.”

As a Catholic Christian, I am a slave of my Lord Jesus Christ. I am not entitled to my own judgment on matters that my Lord’s Church has expressed positions.

This, literally, could not be more wrong.

Science shows that life begins at conception. The moment the sperm and egg combine, a genetically distinct human fetus (Latin: Offspring) is created. From that moment onward, the cells begin dividing and developing. From a scientific standpoint, that is the definition of life. Heck, from a scientific standpoint, the cells don’t even have to be dividing to be alive.

Amen!

Abortion is in NO WAY compatible with Catholicism.
People can justify their erroneous beliefs, but they are still gravely disordered.
Fact remain. (name removed by moderator)S’s post was spot on.

If the handful of cells isn’t human then why does Planned Parenthood go and and carefully remove certain organs and muscles to be used in other human babies when they kill the handful of cells?

If it’s not human how is it able to be used in human babies?

I agree with the multitude of above posters and go a step further, you cannot truly claim to be Catholic and still support pro-choice. In order to follow Jesus and His true Church you have to actually follow Him, and change, sometimes it’s not easy but you have to trust in God.

2 Timothy 4:3Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (RSVCE)
For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own likings,

Isn’t being a progressive Catholic an oxymoron when it comes to dogma? The Catholic Church is the pillar and bulwark of Faith. Truth can never change to coincide with what’s popular.

They do? Where did you get that information?

First thank you on providing a Catholic bible. Honestly thought it was the KJ version. Second I am not quite sure who wrote Timothy but that prophecy is fairly vague and left open to mean anything. Last I don’t see it that way.
