“Trainwreck” (2015) - despite a surprising amount of suggestive content, it is nonetheless still a Judd Apatow movie (i.e., conservative, pro-life & pro-marriage message). Not very ha-ha funny - I did cry at the end.

Wish I weren’t the only one on CAF who has seen this and liked it. A lot. 🤷

Might be hard to find in North America ,but I suggest you look for…
The Water Diviner starring Russel Crowe , I really enjoyed it,

Chef. Watched it on Netflix the other day. Absolutely loved it. No violence, no sex, just solid entertainment. I had a lot of fun watching it.

I don’t know if it would appeal to US audiences a great deal, since the Gallipoli campaign had no US involvement. Still, it was slated for a limited release in the USA.

Good movie! Watched it last night on On Demand. Calling today to get my money back because when they talked Turkish the words running at the bottom didn’t fit on the screen so difficult to understand the subplots e.g. the woman’s problem with her brother-in-law.
Yes, I’m sure they married. That would make an interesting second movie. 👍

And, really, isn’t all an entertainment film has to be? Big Hero 6 was fun to watch and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Not entirely forgettable…Thandie Newton (the British actress probably best known from “Crash”) was in it.
