Anybody who studies the lie that is Islam will see it is not a religion based on any values that we would want in our culture. It is a religion focused on violence. You don’t believe me? Try living in a muslim country for a few years…it’s hell I can assure you. The word freedom does not exist in there vocabulary. I respect the people in the West who try to practice there Islamic “faith” with tolerance and decency…I would recommend anyone read the article in MacLeans (a canadian magazine equivalent to Times) about Islam printed about 2 years ago. This author was taken to the human rights tribunal in Canada…for his supposed hate mongering…and guess what?..he won…he did not nothing wrong. I will post the authors name and the issue for anybody interested shortly…I’m just concerned that might not be allowed.

Here’s something that may really offend you… the truth!

Christ established a Church as the pillar and bulwark of truth. Christ the King left a visible Prime Minister with authority to act in His Name when the King went to ascend to His Throne. This Church taught infallibly and still does. Members of the Church wrote Tradition into the Scriptures under inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The Scriptures were written in full context of the only Church that Christ built. That same Church assembled the Scriptures into the Bible, leaving out what did not belong, and putting in what did under the protection of the Holy Spirit. The context of the only Church built by Christ is still the only context in which the Bible is properly understood.

MUCH AFTER CHRIST ESTABLISHED HIS ONE CHURCH… about the time of the printing press, people began to claim the Bible as their rule of faith, widely claiming that they could make their own interpretations instead of that of this infallible teaching Church. People now take the Book assembled from Scriptures written by members of the Catholic Church in the context of Catholicism. Many of these people prefer their own interpretations, and reject the Church that God established which gave the world the Bible. These same people will reject some Scripture that clearly refutes their own interpretations. These same people do not really know Christ, as they reject His doctrines, reject His Sacraments, denigrate His mother, and in the end reject His Father. Christ sent out His Apostles who were the first Bishops of the Church, telling them that he who hears you, hears Me, and He who sent Me. He who rejects you, rejects Me, and He who sent Me. The Bishops in the Catholic Church are successors to the Apostles, and so if you reject them, consequently you reject Christ, and consequently reject also the Father.

There are many churches mentioned in the book of Revelation. Which one is the Catholic Church?

Not surprising. Muslims do not like to discuss the truth of the Quran and Mohammad. They only want to discuss what they want us to hear. It’s not that we don’t want to talk about Jesus or the Church, but the easiest way to derail a thread is to change the subject.

I hope I am wrong in saying this and someone please tell me if that’s so but please start a new thread if a different unrelated topic is to be discussed.

Yeh, but everyone seems to have gotten side-tracked, with each person claiming to have the ‘true’ religion, not realizing that they have to change the Word of God, in order to achieve this status.

It’s probably true, you won’t change what is written. But, you don’t have to in order to misinterpret what is written and ignore other parts of what is written. See, it’s the meaning that is important. So, when you believe in your own interpretation, you do not believe in the meaning which God has taught. Therefore, you do not believe in the Word of God, but the words in Scripture which you assign your own meanings. You believe in your own version, and therefore your own gospel.

This is 100% correct, in my view. This ideology, gives them the ‘right’ to exercise judgment on others that do not follow their beliefs.

Why seventy-two virgins? Is there is a mystical significence to the number seventy-two, or dose it represent “a great number” of virgins?

For example, in the Bible the number one thousand means “a great number”, too many to count. Is seventy-two like this, or is there a mystical symbolism to the number, or is it just the number of virgins Allah has promised? Or is it just a number?

I just discovered this and after the site that I quoted earlier.

I thought Islam only allows marriage to little girls which is pedophile to me. I know that Islam prohibits homosexuality and so it didn’t strike me that Muslim men having sex with little boys is allowed.

Obviously this is in the Quran. It really amazes me how far Islam has deviated from the truth of God that it is almost demonic in its practices especially whereby it allows all that are abominations to God.

Mohammad thought at first he was visited by an evil spirit. He should have stayed with that thought, as it would have been more accurate. Islam is a grave distortion of God’s Word.

Exactly. And on this basis alone I can say that their teaching is not of God. Short of saying that it is from Satan as it may contravene forum’s rule, anything that’s contrary to God and being attributed to him is only consistent with the lies of the Evil One. Similarly, their denial of salvation through the Lord’s death on the cross.
