What makes you think the Democrats are looking for someone pro-life who would go back to their old values and IF that would happen, they would win the party’s nomination?? ? You like to dream big, don’t you?I tend to agree with this, with the addition that Cuomo also probably wins under the same scenario. No matter what though, I don’t see a pro-life candidate winning. I also question whether McCain or Cuomo could get out of the primaries given that the Christian right will more likely not support either of them. The bad news is that any of the current crop that they would support like possibly Frist or Santorum don’t really stand much of a chance in my opinion unless the Democrats put up someone really awful.
I sure wish the Democrats could find someone pro-life who would go back to their old values instead of the current “we stand for being against whatever the Republicans are for.”
