I won’t comment on that, but the main issue is the irroneous belief that there is some war between science and religion, specifically the Judeo/Christian God. Philosophy can shed light here, especially if we travel down the roads of Aquinas.One of the things that I’ve noticed about this particular thread, and about you specifically, greylorn, is that you are operating from an hypocrisy. On the one hand, you deny anyone any relevance who dares to speak from their personal belief system, while on the other hand, declaring your own personal belief system as tantamount to that of a scientific declaration.
It’s interesting, but sad.
To recap: there’s a difference between the laws of logic and the laws of physics. There’s sometimes a difference between created/uncreated from the human perspective and caused/uncaused from the divine perspective. These distinctions are important, and in many cases, solve any “contradiction”.
And greylorn is right, God becoming man makes no sense without bringing love into the picture.
